Hello! There is another user blatantly copying your username and your user page contents. See: Special:Contributions/Booogerpatrol. Feel free to report the user to WP:UAA. ///EuroCarGT 23:24, 7 October 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. It appears that another reported (& an admin has posted notice at the similar usernmame) that the name violates policy in and of itself, and they have also noted that this person appears to have spoofed my userpage, which they've continued doing so in the past hour or so. They've been watchlisted...
I've read the username policy in the past, and my username is of course humorous, but doesn't seem to run afoul of the actual policy. If it came down to it I see another possibility I like isn't taken... Boogerpatrol (talk) 00:41, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Christadelphians, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Big Bang Theory (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Opting in to VisualEditor

As you may know, VisualEditor ("Edit beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it. Since you have made 50 or more edits with VisualEditor this year, I want to make sure that you know that you can enable VisualEditor (if you haven't already done so) by going to your preferences and choosing the item, "MediaWiki:Visualeditor-preference-enable". This will give you the option of using VisualEditor on articles and userpages when you want to, and give you the opportunity to spot changes in the interface and suggest improvements. We value your feedback, whether positive or negative, about using VisualEditor, at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thank you, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 20:16, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

Given it's been kept at MfD, I've reposted a proposal to tighten it. See header. Cheers, Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 21:46, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

Editing me

"Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Carl's Jr. are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Boogerpatrol (talk) 23:37, 20 November 2013 (UTC)" Thank you for the platitudes, now how about fixing the error that I pointed out in my post? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it would seem that pointing out a factual error in an article is EXACTLY "discussion related to improving the article". Perhaps where we diverge is on the definition of "discussion". Regardless, the error stands, and my post is deleted. ? I personally would have more faith in the information presented in Wikipedia if the editors were a bit more zealous in checking facts and a bit less eager to spank anyone who posesses the slightest shred of a sense of humor.Gimelgort (talk) 00:14, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

just kidding, I admit that Gimelgort has a point; there was an error he found in the article, even if it was a pretty lame joke wrapped around it, & I got a bit too trigger happy with a template for my own liking, & missed that error... I think I've learned my lesson... Boogerpatrol (talk) 02:46, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
