The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival has no connection to the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Linking to the article about the notable award when you actually mean the non-notable one is incorrect and disruptive.

In addition, awards that aren't notable are normally not included at all. Please don't add it again. bonadea contributions talk 07:06, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Bonadea, I am doing my best here to understand the issue. so these are the links and evidence..
1-https://urbanasian.com/entertainment/2022/02/highway-nights-wins-1st-runner-up-award-at-dadasaheb-phalke-international-film-festival/
2- photographic evidence of the film makers winning at the event https://www.instagram.com/p/CaSQd9whHad/
3 - https://www.iglobalnews.com/ientertainment/profiles/highway-nights-wins-mumbai-prize-for-heart-warming-short-film with a photo of the award with the team.
Please don't randomly nominate my hard work for vandalism. Guide me if I am wrong.
The award is Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival Award. Thanks for the help in advance. Robert1900 (talk) 07:13, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You said: The award is Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival Award That is exactly my point. The Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival Award is not notable, and we usually do not include non-notable awards. --bonadea contributions talk 09:29, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Bonadea,
Understood. Thank you for correcting my error. Robert1900 (talk) 09:38, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Travis Cloyd moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Travis Cloyd, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia).

It is also very promotionally written. Don't build an article around quotes from the person. In fact, Wikipedia is not interested in what someone says about themselves, but in what other people unconnected to them have to say.

I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. bonadea contributions talk 07:13, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the guidance bonadea. I will sit with this and incubate the article in my draftspace. I will make the necessary changes and remove the quotes to keep it neutral. Revisit all my independent sources and when all guidelines are met,,I will resubmit it. Thanks! Robert1900 (talk) 07:27, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Do not move this back to mainspace yourself. It is far from being acceptable as an article – there is no claim to notability and it is very promotionally written. Much of the information is unsourced, which is unacceptable, particularly in a biography about a living person. See also the question below. --bonadea contributions talk 09:26, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Robert1900. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Robert1900. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Robert1900|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. --bonadea contributions talk 09:26, 28 November 2022 (UTC) Bonadea I have made this article as contribution from my end after reading countless articles on subject of Metaverse and VR which is a fairly new technology. I am not paid a single penny to make these changes. I followed all your instructions and yet I am doing many things wrong. I shall patiently wait for other to correct an article that I have made from scratch. Please be assured my contribution is genuine and I am still learning to do my best as a a contributor. Thank you for guiding me.[reply]
