Specifically, there are many different types of producers, and I couldn't quite tell what type of producer Dan Findlay is from what I read, so I de-linked it instead of trying to guess. After re-reading your submission, I think he's a record producer, yes?
"Is there anything else I should try to aim for when creating these pages?" -- Your submission looks pretty good; the more sources the better. He looks notable to me. As a registered user, you can create new pages without going through the Articles for creation process. See Help:Starting a new page.
