Once you write a longer, referenced article, it is a good idea to nominate it for front page exposure at T:TDYK. I have done so with your Mieszo article - see here.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 17:58, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Boleslaw II Szczodry or Smialy (Generous or Bold) debate

[edit]

Dear Rob, perhaps I am missing something, but why are you posting those sources to my talk page? It seems like something you'd want to post to Talk:Bolesław II the Bold. PS. Please note that Wikipedia supports bottom-posting over top-posting. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 03:06, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

?

[edit]

Co ci Aldebaran zaszkodzil? Czemu mu dokuczasz? Facet napisal wiecej o Polskiej histori niz ty i wielu innych na En:Wikipedia razem wzietych. Jak sa jakies problemy z angielskim to ja poprawie i nic mi nie przeszkadza. Odczep sie. Albo sam pisz te artykuly.radek (talk) 03:11, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chłopcy, mam wam mediacje zrobic? :) Aha, Rob, pamietaj o bottomposting. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 23:47, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Pomoz mu zamiast mu dokopywac. Co, zle ze jakis Hiszpan sie interesuje Polska historia?radek (talk) 09:32, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Don't forget

To add categories, stub templates and pl wikipedia interwiki links to articles you create. And if you write a longer article like Skarbmir try to nominate it at T:TDYK for front page exposure. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 23:45, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Denar of Boleslaw II.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:42, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Campus Ambassador needed

[edit]

Hi! My name is Annie Lin - I'm the Campus Team Coordinator at the Wikimedia Foundation. I'm contacting you because you're listed as a resident of San Francisco, and we're currently looking for a friendly Wikipedian to teach students in a University of San Francisco class how to use/edit Wikipedia. This is a role titled the "Wikipedia Campus Ambassador," and you'll basically be doing in-class presentations about Wikipedia, running Wikipedia labs/workshops, and in general providing face-to-face Wikipedia help for the professor and the students in the class. The time commitment is about 3-5 hours a week (with variations throughout the semester), and for this particular University of San Francisco class, most of the workload will be between March and May.

Please let me know if you're interested!

Thanks. Annie Lin (Campus Team Coordinator, Wikimedia Foundation) (talk) 20:03, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The page E2 shop system has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be blatant advertising which only promotes something, and which is unlikely to be suitable for an article (or at best would need a fundamental rewrite). Wikipedia is not a medium for promotion of anything, whether a company, product, group, service, person, religious or political belief, or anything else. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Wikipedia Stories Project

[edit]

Hi!

My name is Victor and I'm a storyteller with the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that supports Wikipedia. I'm chronicling the inspiring stories of the Wikipedia community around the world, including those from readers, editors, and donors. Stories are absolutely essential for any non-profit to persuade people to support the cause, and we know the vast network of people who make and use Wikipedia have so much to share.

Since you live in the Bay Area, I thought it may be somewhat easy for us to meet to talk about what Wikipedia means to you.

I'd very much like the opportunity to interview you to tell your story, with the possibility of using it in our materials, on our community websites, or as part of this year’s fundraiser to encourage others to support Wikipedia. Please let me know if you're inclined to take part in the Wikipedia Stories Project, or if you know anyone with whom I should speak.

Thank you for your time,

Victor Grigas

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
