G12 Speedy Deletion

At Jaybahadur Hitan Magar you added a speedy deletion tag under G12 (Wikipedia:Speedy deletion criteria#G12). I removed the tag because the copyvios report doesn't show that it is copyrighted, although it probably is. Therefore I added the AfD here. Dat GuyWiki (talk) 15:54, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

Noted. Thanks for the explanation. Zyc1174 (talk) 02:28, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

Please note that I have declined your request to speedy delete the page Celtic hand under CSD A3 (no content);. I did this because this page isn't an article, it's a redirect. If you think it should be deleted, feel free to nominate it at Redirects for discussion. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 14:30, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

Thanks!

The Nineveh Plains Offensive article took a lot of work to create, thank you for reviewing/accepting it! I rarely create pages, let alone ones about international news, so it's very gratifying to get the stamp of approval. Now let us hope that other editors make it even better (it needs a map!) Observer31 (talk) 12:43, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

You're welcome! More work from other editors and it might just get into WP:FAC! Zyc1174 (talk) 12:46, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
Rergarding the page name: I agree with you that this is somewhat problematic but... no one seems to have given this event a name. I needed a title and came up with that. I'm not sure what is the procedure when writing an article about a (somewhat) important historical event that no one has named yet... Observer31 (talk) 23:53, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
Oh well, I guess it will have to do for now. Zyc1174 (talk) 23:58, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
Someone changed it from Offensive to offensive - I think that helps a bit? It's not an "official" title just a description. Observer31 (talk) 15:49, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
Oh well, I guess it will have to do, although if the battle becomes known as the Nivannah Plains offensive I am going to be really surprised because the only source that we can cite would be from Wikipedia. Irony? Zyc1174 (talk) 07:32, 29 December 2015 (UTC)

Answer

1900 in science fiction and other pages of same kind : no copyvio, I have just translated articles I had created in 2013, 2014 and 2015 in french Wikipedia. The articles were accepted in the french wikipedia without any problem. --Éric Messel (Send a message) 11:14, 1 February 2016 (UTC)

OK, thanks. Just clarifying. Zyc1174 (talk) 11:16, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
I have written messages on the talk pages of the articles (1900 in science fiction ==> 1911 in science fiction), giving details about my contributions in french wikipédia. --Éric Messel (Send a message) 11:37, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
No worries, I understand.Zyc1174 (talk) 12:31, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
