I have read the tutorials on "writing your first article." I understand the general interest requirements. Some of the tips that wikipedia gave include: including sources that show third party or general interest. As you can see these stories are all collected from third part sources and represent a general interest in Axis41. Wikipedia also advises topics that can provide internal links to relevant topics. Almost all the companies that are listed under clients have wikipedia pages, and I provided the internal links. Ciena is a great example. They are a multi national information systems company, and axis41 does considerable work in developing their systems. Anyone who is interested in Ciena would be interested in axis41. Backcountry.com is a company that operates almost entirely on a web platform, and axis41 designed that platform.
There is general interest in Axis41 as part of the advertising market in SLC. The majority of the clients listed have wikipedia pages. If a person is interested in Backcountry.com or Ciena, they could easily be interested in the company that designed their marketing systems.
I am also working on a notable projects section for the article which includes local and national press clippings and axis41 contributions to Adobe national conference.
I am trying real hard to meet the wikipedia criteria here so I welcome any advice you could give me in editing this page so it doesn't get deleted. Here is what I have for the notable work section so far, I think it meets the general interest criteria. I can also include a list of companies of similar size and notoriety who have active wikipedia pages.
