May 2021: You cannot take back Wikipedia contributions

Your contributions (edits) to Wikipedia do not belong to you. This is because, when you click the "Publish" button, you are agreeing to give over copyright to Wikipedia. Even when your edits are reverted, you not only have no proprietary rights to the material, you also will not be physically able to erase anything from Wikipedia's history/contribution pages, as Wikipedia de facto retains everything in a publicly viewable format, minus copyright infringements, deleted pages and egregious/defamatory material.--Quisqualis (talk) 03:01, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
