asian names in AWB

Magioladitis told me to bug you, so blame him. :)

I though name templates were recently added to AWB that would help AWB figure out defaultsort. Example: {{Korean name|[[Yoo (Korean name)|Yoo]]}}. As it stands now, nothing gets filled in at all. Among the examples I found are: Yoo Gun Hyung, Lee Jin-wook, Li Jiahang and Lee Sunmi. Bgwhite (talk) 07:21, 14 November 2012 (UTC)

Logic relating to name templates has been added to AWB: if there's a name template the order of the words is not changed (no conversion of "Name1 Name2" to "Name2, Name1". However, now that DEFAULTSORT is not case sensitive, for you examples I would not expect a DEFAULTSORT to be needed. Rjwilmsi 09:21, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
It is needed due to the comma added. For instance the DEFAULTSORT value of Lee Sunmi should be "Lee, Sunmi" -- Magioladitis (talk) 09:37, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
We don't have logic to add a comma when a -name template is present. If a -name template is present we don't reorder or add a comma. If this is wrong then fine, what logic was needed wasn't made clear to us. If a change is needed we need a link to the MOS page about this, and desired before & after values for the above examples. The comma actually influences the sort order. "Lee Sunmi" is treated as one word, so it will be sorted before "Lee, Sunmi". (Wikimedia software has this wrong and it should be sorted after)
WP:SUR spells it out the comma and the different sort orders.
The following only applies to {{Korean name}}, {{Vietnamese name}}, {{Chinese name}} and {{Cambodian name}}. For Yoo Gun Hyung -> Yoo, Gun Hyung. Lee Jin-wook -> Lee, Jin-wook. Li Jiahang -> Li, Jiahang. Lee Sunmi -> Lee, Sunmi. Bgwhite (talk) 11:16, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
