Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to SSC Aero. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Alanraywiki (talk) 16:27, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Constructive contributions are appreciated and strongly encouraged, but your recent edit to the userpage of another user may be considered vandalism. Specifically, your edit to User:Mr Larrington may be offensive or unwelcome. In general, it is considered polite to avoid substantially editing others' userpages without their permission. Instead, please bring the matter to their talk page and let them edit their user page themselves if they agree on a need to do so. Please refer to Wikipedia:User page for more information on User page etiquette. Thank you. Alanraywiki (talk) 16:35, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bugatti Veyron

[edit]

Hi, Thanks for your contributions to the Bugatti Veyron article. Please see the section I've got on the talk page about clean-up - there is a lot of conflicting information and sources for various statistics around the car, and the article itself is in need of cleanup. I've seen your edits to the acceleration figures and read your comment in the earlier section on the talk page, and as you say you have a brochure I'm wondering if you can assist in this. Can you make any scans of the various bits of info and upload them somewhere online for review? Alternatively, can you copy details verbatim on the statistics (performance, engine output, etc) with appropriate notes for the page etc that can be used as sources? I'm keen to get these details resolved, but am struggling to find interested editors or reliable sources (online stuff with Bugatti seems contradictory, see my notes in the 'horsepower' section on the talk page). One small point, while you may have a letter from Bugatti, I don't think that can be used as verification of the 1/4 mile time - I'm sure it's factually correct but we need sources that can be checked, and a personal letter in your possession doesn't count. However, brochure info which will be available to others I think would suffice, although it does class as a primary source, if not a self published one! Thanks.
