Regarding personal information
[edit]Regarding your question about personal information, some editors disclose personal information and others do not. Some editors disclose information about themselves on their Wikipedia:User_page. I do not know if there is a formal guideline about asking others for personal information, but in general I would avoid doing it unless you have a very good reason, since anonymity is an important part of the Wikipedia model. Under some circumstances, posting of personal information about someone else constitutes Wikipedia:Harassment. For general tips see Wikipedia:Etiquette. Buddhipriya 22:44, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
December 2010
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article List of collective nouns by collective term A-K, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
