Your song articles
[edit]I have redirected the song articles Mama (2006 song), My Way Home Is Through You, My Heart Is The Worst Kind Of Weapon, Neon 12:47 AM, Story (Maroon 5 song), Losing My Mind (Maroon 5 song), Miss You Love You, Calm Before The Storm (Fall Out Boy song), This Love (Acoustic version), Sunday Morning (Acoustic version), The Sun (Acoustic version), and Nothing Lasts Forever (Maroon 5) that you created to the articles about the albums that the songs are from. This is because there is a notability criteria for song articles on Wikipedia, which you can read here. Songs usually do not have an article separate from their album unless the song is a single that has charted. There is a Wikiproject dedicated to music here that you might be interested in. It has guidelines and help about writing about music on Wikipedia. All the best, Bláthnaid 21:30, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Hits Music
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Hits Music, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Maroon 5(+)
[edit]I have nominated Maroon 5(+), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Maroon 5(+). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Ironholds 02:22, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
Some advice
[edit]Hail! I noticed that a lot of your articles were listed on AfD recently. Don't get discouraged, though! Wikipedia can use everyone's help, being as it is a collaborative project, and simply having articles listed there doesn't mean we think you're a vandal. I'm sure you can appreciate, however, that a project of this size needs to have published standards that are by and large followed by its contributors. Accordingly, I'd like to offer you a few pointers so people won't get fired up about your contributions.
I noticed that you created a page named Chronology:Maroon 5. That particular naming convention is not generally used for articles, because it is also used to designate namespaces. A more appropriate name would have been Chronology of Maroon 5.
Also, I noticed that you removed a tag that had been placed on that page by another user. It is a poor idea to revert another user's changes without discussing it on the article's talk page (click discussion in the menu on the top of the site), because the tag was placed there for a reason.
The third thing I see in your edit history is that you created a large number of articles on individual songs and band members. Current policy says this should not be done unless they are notable in their own right; see WP:MUSIC and WP:BIO for Wikipedia notability criteria as per these. It is likely that these articles will be deleted unless you add information establishing their notability per the aforementioned criteria.
One last thing: everyone, yourself included, should use a spell-checker in their browser. This makes Wikipedia appear more credible, and saves vast amounts of time on the part of copy editors like myself, besides stopping a problem before it even begins. One is most likely available for the browser you use; I believe Firefox ships with one.
I hope all these AfD debates don't discourage you from editing; there are many valuable contributions you can make. One thing you could do, for example, is merge anything you've written that isn't already present in the existing Maroon 5 articles into them. Happy editing! --Falcon Darkstar Kirtaran (talk) 08:52, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Take This To ou Grave, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you believe that there is a reason to keep the redirect, you can request that administrators wait a while before deleting it. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Wolfer68 (talk) 08:31, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Sockpuppet investigation
[edit]Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/River Stumpf, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
