Regarding Eliot & Dylan
[edit]Hello. I wanted to leave a short note explaining why I reverted your edit to T. S. Eliot. Dylan has been added to the userbox as someone influenced by Eliot in the past, and always ends up being removed because of no reference. If you can provide a reference for Eliot's influence, I would be glad to see it, and see Dylan returned to the list. Cheers! ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 05:10, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, I'm sorry for not getting back to you. Thank you for your response, and I will add that information you left on my talk page to the Eliot article. I really appreciate the way you handled this matter. If I can every be of any assistance to you, do not hesitate to ask. Cheers! ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 02:06, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Regarding Raegan Butcher.
[edit]I read the article three times, and I cannot find any really glaring errors. You might want to take the 2nd two paragraphs, which are now part of the opening, and split them off as a separate section entitled "life" or some such thing. Otherwise, I would say that it looks great. Good job! Cheers! ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 16:28, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Raegan Butcher in 2007.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Raegan Butcher in 2007.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Raegan Butcher in 2007.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Raegan Butcher in 2007.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 10:09, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Just letting you know someone [[1]] is (improperly in my mind) trying to reverse your putting this article in the American Criminals category. John celona (talk) 18:42, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
K.J. Stevens
[edit]Yo Rimbaud, sorry for my lateness in responding, and congratulations on contributing another article on America's marginal writers to Wikipedia! I took a pass over the K. J. Stevens article and tried to wikify the references and so on. The referencing stuff is tricky at first, but check out Wikipedia:Verification_methods and Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners if you're interested in getting a hang of it. It looks like the references you used should be good enough to save the article from the deletion mafia, and have plenty of info to expand the article also. Drop me a line if there's anything I can help with, and best of luck with the editing! Regards, ɥʞoɹoɯoʞS 23:09, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
