Information icon Hello, Richmchdor. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 19:05, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. AntiDionysius (talk) 19:05, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The persons or persons who are putting up the personal attacks are on a political agenda, and have repeatedly removed correct attributions and the correct context. Trashing people's wikipedia pages is not allowed here. If wikipedia wants to have a separate page with all the various political and civic groups in cambridge, including the attackers from the pro-builder political group, A Better Cambridge, they should do so. But removing citations and adding misinformation as part of their political disinformation campaign should be off limits, when it involves a living person - even here! As it says above, edit warring is prohibited even if you believe you are in the right. Wikipedia works on the basis of consensus; you are obligated to talk to other editors and work collaboratively, not to try to force through your changes.
Please also remember that Wikipedia editors are required to assume good faith of each other; please refrain from accusing others of "being on a political agenda" or engaged in a "political disinformation campaign" - particularly when such accusations appear, at least from my reading, to be largely baseless.
Finally, please clarify whether or not you have a conflict of interest related to this article. Thanks. AntiDionysius (talk) 18:07, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
