VPN-X

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article VPN-X, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of VPN-X. Why Delete my article, it's just need more wikification not deletion :( —Richardxing (talk) 00:09, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article fell under the criteria for deletion (possible advertisement) and you need to contact an admin if you want to undelete it. LordKenTheGreat (talk) 00:20, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The content did not include any advertisement words. Who can help me undelete it. I am not familiar with wiki management mechanism. -Richardxing (talk) 02:01, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I nominated the article for deletion since its creation presented a violation of WP:NPOV. Since you are the developer for this program, you were in violation of WP:COI. Please read these pages carefully before requesting undeletion WP:UNDELETE. LordKenTheGreat (talk) 02:07, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

:(, that is a bad news for our team.PacketiX VPN and Hamachi have the same issues, why you didn't nomimate those articles. You can give us suggestion or modify the article directly, deletion is not the first/best choice. i can modify the article more neutral than those articles.VPN-X is not always a shareware,VPN-X 2.1.1.6 or 2.1.1.7 Beta3 is freeware, please search them in google, so we don't want to advertise on wiki for better sale.If you don't give me chance, I believe our software users will rewrite the same title article. My personal email: hustxy@yahoo.com.cn. Welcome any suggestions -Richardxing (talk) 00:40, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to the edit histories of PacketiX, it has been flagged and attention has been brought to it, and it may be nominated for deletion. Hamachi fits the guidelines for notability, see WP:NOTE. I encourage you to fully read Wikipedia guidelines and regulations before taking any further action. You are always welcome to create a draft article using a subpage, User:Richardxing/VPN-X. But since Wikipedians cannot catch every abuse of the rules, some things may not get caught. If you believe that your article follows the guidelines for notability, feel free to recreate it. I am sorry if I seem mean or rude, but users of Wikipedia must follow the rules. LordKenTheGreat (talk) 21:08, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
