Please stop reverting
[edit]I will post this on both talk pages: please stop reverting Motorcycle (artist). It's only a redirect! Wait for a day or discuss the issue on the talk page. It's starting to look like an edit war. CMummert · talk 21:36, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, stopped. It has been changed over the last 5 days. Rich257 21:41, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- I made the page into a disambiguation page, which I hope is an acceptable compromise. I have seen a rule of thumb somewhere that 15 vandalisms/day is a minimum before considering semiprotection. But in this case there is a strong case that D. Mann goes by the nickname "Motorcycle", in which case the reverts aren't obviously vandalism. CMummert · talk 21:45, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Interesting... the aka has been added recently, and is unreferenced. Anyway, it's sorted hopefully. Rich257 21:49, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- You're right - it's only a "strong case" by vandalism standards. Please feel free to edit the disambig to correct my summary of the band. CMummert · talk 21:52, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
ok

CBC Disambiguation Fix
[edit]In the article for Atikokan, Ontario you changed it to Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation; I haven't found anywhere else where you did that, but just to let you know that it happened so you can either check back on those articles or be more careful in the future. Thanks. :) Vidioman 05:08, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
helpful user warning messages
[edit]Hi Rich257. I noticed you left a custom warning message on User talk:67.142.130.35. That's great and all, unless you find it to be too much work that you shy away from warning vandals. To make the job easier, have a look at the standard warning messages on WP:UTM, especially the first few at the top of that page which are particularly useful while fighting vandalism.
