Proposed deletion of 2015 NFL season games
[edit]The article 2015 NFL season games has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Per WP:NSEASONS: articles should consist mainly of prose that is well sourced, not merely just listings of statistics and scores. Wikipedia is not a directory and Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Furthermore, per WP:SPORTSEVENT regular season games in professional and college leagues are not inherently notable.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Zzyzx11 (talk) 08:21, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- My advice is that this page needs something substantial than just basically copying and pasting the same information you could easily find on a single source like http://www.nfl.com/scores. That is why we really don't have such separate stand-alone list articles that merely just list the scores of 256 regular season and 11 postseason NFL games in the first place. Thanks.
