Welcome
[edit]Hello, Rianna15 and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.
Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 19:42, 30 January 2023 (UTC)

Peer Review
[edit]This article is headed in a good direction. Your lead section provides a clear, concise summary of the topic at large and the more detailed sections you continue to develop. The original article has a good structure that you have effectively used to improve the content. There is considerable improvement between the sections that you have worked on and those in the original article. I like how you changed the organization by eliminating some subsections because it makes the article flow better. A strength in your article is that most of your sources deal with numbers and concrete data. Moreover, your writing style is very clear and effective in communicating the data. You assume a very neutral tone that does not favor any opinion. It would be nice to complement these sources with some more qualitative articles and images as you continue working on your final draft. You could include some more peer-reviewed articles in your sources as well. This article is very well-developed. There is a good amount of details for each section and you can definitely continue expanding into other areas that have gender gaps. I’m excited to see your final product!
