[edit]Hey Riana, thanks for the message :) I did a redirect from the Fort at Bathinda page to Qila Mubarak. The thing is that I created both pages and there was a slight discrepancy that I found when doing some research on this fort. There is a second fort, in Patiala also called Qila Mubarak and I just didn't want the current Qila Mubarak (for the fort in Bathinda) page to be deleted and re-written for that other fort. Thus I copy and pasted the same text back to Fort at Bathinda. Originally, since I wasn't aware of the 'move' function, I copy/pasted the text currently at Qila Mubarak from Fort at Bathinda... let me know if you have additional tips in regard to this slight/potential problem.Guneeta 18:37, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Hey, I noticed you just left a {{tl:test4}} tag on an IP's talk page (the one who vandalised Chad). Before you leave a t4 tag, you should make sure how long ago the previous vandalism was. The last vandalism from this IP was over a week ago, so given the fact that not all IPs are static, it's more than probable that it was a different person. Even if it wasn't, we have to AGF and suppose that it was. They did it again, so I've left a t3 tag, but you know how it is - newbie reads 'anyone can edit!' and the next thing they know, they're blocked. It's best to give progressive warnings, unless the vandalism is particularly obnoxious. Sorry if you feel like I'm calling you out on this, but it makes admins uncomfortable to block users when they're started off with a t3 or 4. Cheers, riana_dzasta 12:33, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yah, I noticed that too. I was trying to use Vandal Proof's little bar at the top of the diff where it tries to identify templates that the user has previously been warned with. Unfortunately it can't tell how old the other templates are, which severely lowers the utility of the feature. Ah well, I gave it a shot. I already hesitate to warn for many edits that I revert in fear of biting the newcomers; it's definitely a concern. I may just start using only {{test1}} or {{test2}} as warnings; I hardly think the admins at WP:AIAV would hesitate to block somebody with 20 {{test1}} templates. ;) —Lantoka ( talk | contrib) 12:41, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for reviewing me
[edit]Thanks for participating in my editor review!
Hello there, and thank you for participating in my editor review! I appreciate your comments and I will strive to make myself an even better Wikipedian in the future. Thanks for taking the time to share your opinion!
-Hi Riana, thanks for your clear and concise review. The bulleted list made it easy to read at a glance. Concerning my edits to articles, I'm actually interested in a whole lot more things than what I list on my userpage, but lack of time forces me to choose priorties, and so I focus mainly on articles relating to anime, literature, and as you well know due to recent developments in my life, especially medicine. It does help having a mixed background in academic subjects, so I know at least a little bit about almost everything. And when the self-esteem and depression don't get in the way, I know that I'm smart, even brilliant.
I try to keep my mainspace edits up, but with all the recent stresses and then feeling obligated to thank everybody, that effort has slipped. Oh well, it's not as if I want to become an administrator. I strongly prefer writing over performing maintenance tasks or mediating. I would be immensely proud if the lung transplantation article eventually reaches FA status, but I think that it still needs work. You could say that I'm strongly motivated to learn more about the topic and improve the article.
Other people have pointed out my relative weakness in Wikipedia process, and I'll try to work on that in the future. Part of the problem is that matters relating to process don't interest me so much.
And now for something completely different... I'm surprised that I'm so popular according to those statistics. I hope that it isn't due to people laughing at me or making fun of me. "Oh look, isn't she pathetic! What a loser." I'm sorry, I do worry about these things.
I really don't plan on ever pursuing an RfA, because I don't think I have the temperament for it. I would like to ask you something in private concerning this, but I tried e-mailing you earlier and it didn't work, so if you could please contact me, that would be great. And I am glad you consider me a friend *does weird dance*. Just in case you didn't know the Coffee Lounge was deleted...Maybe it was for the best, they had some awesome mocha. And the userpage award is gone as well. Hope Wikiproject Chemistry treats you well. Also I have completely renovated This article, I am hoping to one day improve it to a featured list! Also, I am following your advice to expand a little bit...even though my article building skills aren't great. I should have an easy time expanding since my interests are from the Aeneid all the way to Zorastarianism! Also I noticed you play the piano, I play too...I love Claude Debussy, Beethoven and Chopin.__Seadog ♪ 15:34, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Improvements to the Psychology portal
[edit]Hi, I'm working on trying to get Portal:Psychology up to Featured portal status. Any tips you can offer on how to improve it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Rfrisbietalk 15:49, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
How I am right now
[edit]Hi Riana, I can't seem to stay away from this place. :) Regarding how I am, it's a little hard to say. I'm not feeling suicidal, so that's a start. I guess the main complaint is listlessness; I can't seem to muster the energy to do anything ambitious either online or off (you'll notice that I have made no significant contributions lately). Even so, I do feel better than before. I'm glad you liked the editor review thank you note. The code that allows the personalised message was actually E@L's doing, just so you know. There is another matter that I had been hoping to ask you, but I would rather ask it by private e-mail, if that's OK. My e-mail has been activated for the time being. I hope that your exams are going/went well. Thanks again, --Kyoko 17:25, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- E-mail written and sent. I hope the subject doesn't stress you. It sure stresses me. --Kyoko 17:52, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Random elements
[edit]Hi, I was about to throw in the switch function at Portal:Chemistry/Elements/Random, but User:Sceptre beat me to it! >;-o. I threw in the randomization piece from the portal pages just to show how they relate. It looks great. :-) Rfrisbietalk 20:22, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your support!
[edit]A week ago I nominated myself, hoping to be able to help Wikipedia as an administrator as much as a WikiGnome. I am very glad many others shared my thoughts, including you. Thank you for your trust! Be sure I will use these tools to protect and prevent and not to harass or punish. Should you feel I am overreacting, pat me so that I can correct myself. Thanks again, knowing you have considered me as a good candidate warms me up. Hopefully we will be sharing many editor reviews in the future. Keep up the excellent work there, and thanks again!
