Welcome!
[edit]I'm Riley Huntley, and I noticed that you haven't been welcomed yet, so I thought I'd drop you a note. We do have a lot of users, and are currently working on 6,925,970 articles, so things can be a little intimidating... but don't worry! We love to help out, and we'll try our best to make your stay here as comfortable as possible.
Here are a few links I found useful when I first arrived here:-
You should sign your name on talk pages, discussions and votes by typing ~~~~
; our software automatically converts it to your username and the date. Also, if you don't want to jump right into editing articles right now, why not check out the sandbox? Feel free to make test edits there.
I know it's a lot of information, but there are two more things I recommend you take note of while editing Wikipedia - cite references wherever possible, and avoid allowing personal biases interfere with your editing.
I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian - I definitely do. Although we all make mistakes, please keep in mind what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or problems, leave me a message on my talk page, and I'll try my best to help. Otherwise, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.
We hope you stick around, and make sure you enjoy yourself! Cheers, -- Cheers, Riley 17:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Judith Orloff, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been partially reverted, though I do agree with Collect's edit per WP:UNDUE. Thank you. —SMALLJIM 23:45, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Judith Orloff, you may be blocked from editing. Further: Never change quotes in citations, unless you have acquired the source and found the text or transcription to be in error; I verified that one myself by listening to the audio program. She said psychic, not intuitive. Changing quotes should not be done because you want her to have said intuitive. Psiĥedelisto (talk • contribs) please always ping! 07:02, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for your input. I actually work for Dr. Judith Orloff as her personal assistant and she asked me to make the changes to her Wiki profile. Judith doesn't refer to herself as a psychic any longer. She prefers intuitive instead as her focus now is intuition and empaths. This is why I made the changes. I'm not experienced in editing in Wiki so I apologize if I deleted citations my mistake. Would it help to receive an email directly from Judith with this information?
- All the best,

. However, as you have a clear WP:COI, and are furthermore a WP:PAID contributor, you should read those pages thoroughly before continuing. Undisclosed paid editing is taken very seriously on Wikipedia, thus my reaction. Discussion of matters on Wikipedia should in general not happen WP:OFFWIKI, but you are free to email me, it is not forbidden by policy. I apologize for my exasperation at your behavior at WP:COI/N, and am glad you're finally replying to messages. Another tip: stay logged in so as not to leak your IP address. The correct procedure for you to follow as a paid editor is to make WP:ERs on Talk:Judith Orloff. It would help if Dr. Orloff could publish a blog post or something about how her preferred terms have changed over the years, and I will cite that in the lede. I'm getting ready to go out of town right now and just briefly read the page ond paid editors but will go through it more thoroughly when I'm back. I'll also talk to Dr. Orloff about creating an article on how her perferred terms have changed.
- Cheers,
