King Kong vs Godzilla

[edit]

What do you think now? I organized it alittle bit better under various sub-sections according to your recommendations.Giantdevilfish 01:03, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It looks good, but how come that quote from the Toho press book where they said Kong was the winner was removed? Toho said Kong won the fight in the press book Toho Films Vol 8. I always looked at that as being vital info because, alot of Godzilla fans come up with personal theories about it being a draw or Godzilla winning in the Japanese version etc. That bit of info is concrete proof from the studio and filmmakers themselves, that Kong was the intended winner.Giantdevilfish 16:28, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rhindle take a look at the page. That Optronic Eye fellow keeps posting that bit about how a script about King Kong vs Frankenstein has been written by some guy and he's trying to get it filmed. I deleted it because its speculation and rumor. Am I right to do so? Isn't it unencylopedic to post rumor?Giantdevilfish 01:35, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rhindle I did some google research and found this http://monstermovieblog.blogspot.com/2007/04/king-kong-vs-frankenstein-project-in.html The whole thing smells kinda fishy. When they talk about "billions of dollars" and "a movie everyone wants to see" and "using an isolated computer" you get the impression this fellow is some nobody who wrote a script in his basement and is hoping that Universal will buy it like every other hopeful that writes scripts that they hope will be made. And he's trying to get people on the Interent to champion his cause. In fact I get the impression that that Optronic Eye fellow is Baker himself trying to promote this on the wikipedia, since he keeps adding it to the King Kong (2005) page as well (It keeps getting deleted by the editors) in an almost spamming style move. So should this be posted as legit (that some nobody writes a script that more then likely never get picked up), or just ignored as speculation and potential?Giantdevilfish 23:34, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Tour_Guide_Barbie.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BigrTex 18:47, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I have tagged Image:Al_of_Al's_Toy_Barn.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again.
