June 2022
[edit]Hello, I'm TylerBurden. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Erling Haaland have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Do not change team until transfer is fully concluded on 1 July. Quote box and nav tool
[edit]Pls do not use Template:Quote box to make navigational boxes. Pls also read Wikipedia:Colour contrast and MOS:DECOR. Also best to read over WP:NAVCSS. Moxy- 19:12, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
- Whats wrong with using nav boxes also I changed the color to white. Also how am I supposed to source this info Rfurer (talk) 19:15, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
- Quote box and nav templates are different things and cause big problems for screen readers. it's why we dont use quote boxes for navigation. Plus what is the value in adding the links for a second time all over? We are looking for wp:prose to help readers.
Reverts warning
[edit]Editors who engage in edit warring are liable to be blocked from editing to prevent further disruption to the affected page. While any amount of edit warring may lead to sanctions, there is a bright-line rule called the three-revert rule (3RR), the violation of which will usually be considered edit warring, and often leads to the user engaging in the behavior to be blocked.
The three-revert rule states:
An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page—whether involving the same or different material—within a 24-hour period. An edit or a series of consecutive edits that undoes or manually reverses other editors' actions—whether in whole or in part—counts as a revert. Violations of this rule often attract blocks of at least 24 hours. Fourth reverts just outside the 24-hour period will usually also be considered edit-warring, especially if repeated or combined with other edit-warring behavior. See below for exemptions.
