WikiLove!
Here's a painting of James Monroe for you! James Monroe somehow promotes WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by giving something friendly to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Make your own message to spread WikiLove to others using Template:smile! Happy editing! --TBCTaLk?!? 05:21, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
Get it, James Monroe for ReyBrujo? Anyhow, keep up the good work on Wikipedia, you've contributed a lot of great edits. :D (another ackward attempt at comedy by TBCTaLk?!?)
Thanks

Rey, just wanted to say thanks for sticking with the WP:EL debate. We seem to be getting closer, and closer to a consensus as time goes by. I have updated my proposal based on your comment. I didn't think anything would succeed without a firm limit either :-). Please check it out and let me know if you find it a good comprimise. - mjg0503 04:07, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

The poll on the proposed switch has been open for ten days, and I have taken the liberty of closing the event. Consensus favors the switch to lightsteelblue.
ReyBrujo, your work over the past four months or so in support of this effort is greatly appreciated. Your actions were rather invaluable in implementing the idea of a standard framework, and I doubt that the template would have come into being so soon without you. For that, I am most grateful.
Many thanks for again for your involvement. See you around! --Cheers, Folajimi (leave a note) 16:00, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Looking for a Template
Hey again Rey, I'm looking for info on a template which I can't name, hopefully you know, as I'm considering making one for Dragonlance. Here's an example: Template:Inheritance. If you can tell me the name and maybe provide a link on how to make them, then I can get right to work on making one for Dragonlance. Thanks! DoomsDay349 21:41, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

What guideline I was refering to
Wikipedia:Abundance and redundancy It is a preferred solution that material be included rather than excluded to resolve an edit war.
Guideline states in an edit war, information should be included rather than removed. I'd consider anything in clear violation of wikipolicy/guidelines vandalism, which is covered in the exception. Although after rereading the policy it says simple vandalism, and I am unsure if direct violation of policy falls under the simple category. I'll make sure not to state that exception again since I'd be streching the rules to make it. But I will enforce wikipolicies and guidelines.DeathSeeker 05:30, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Ben Underwood
I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Ben Underwood, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. I have nominated the article for deletion instead; the debate may be found at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ben Underwood, which overrides the need for a {{prod}} tag. I have explained my reasons for doing this in my nomination. Thanks! Roninbk 10:31, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
Help
Hi... I was working on a page you found and you left a whole bunch of tags. I realize you might think you're helping by doing this, but some of my friends dont even know how to add the things you tagged about...so why don't you help out rather than telling other people to fix it? Surely to a wiki genius like yourself it would only take a second.

- All the hex backgrounds I could find should be done shortly. I have started removing other backgrounds from the infobox as well. I tried one of the "2" templates without a background parameter, it defaulted to yellow, so I'm not touching the extended stuff ATM. Rich Farmbrough, 22:43 19 September 2006 (GMT).
Confusion
Hey Rey. I was reading over a response you made to someone a while ago, I believe it was to Dragonball1986, in regard to uploading images on Wikipedia. While skimming this, I discovered this little tidbit: "the law says only 18 years old or older can write in wikis, but Wikipedia requests you to have 21". I was incredibly confused by this, as I was aware of no such restriction. Also, there are userboxes that allow you to list your status in school and also your age, and some of these userboxes are obviously meant for those under 21 (for example, one such userbox allows you to proclaim yourself a middle school student). Could you please clarify this? DoomsDay349 00:40, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

- Your position is clear, but I disagree with doing so on talk pages. Those links were used in the discussion of the articles concerned. Removing them makes it harder for subsequent readers to follow the conversation. I doubt that the intent of any of those in were to promote the article on behalf of the site itself, but to draw editors' attention to the story, which happened to be on that site. Given that intent, it seems "right" that the link remain, even if it results in benefit to that site. Moreover, just because a site is a popular news aggregator does not mean it cannot have original content as well. I know of several interviews that have occurred on Slashdot, for example. Would links to these be removed? In some cases, the discussion on a particular site may itself be worthy of linking. Where, exactly, do you draw the line? GreenReaper 14:42, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Brain Age
Yes, I definitely agree that BA is a highly successful franchise, but I think it's too new. A lot of articles that I thought would be important were rated lower than I expected, so I rate within the context of the articles already rated. For instance, in the handheld sections, most of them are mid-importance; to get a high rating, it seems, it has to be landmark, like Pokemon Red/Blue or Tetris (top importance). Most articles are just of mid-importance. If you still disagree, perhaps the CVG workshop will be there? I don't really nkow - I don't think there's a formal process for reviewing importance ratings. Quick Question
Hey Rey. I'm working on the War of Souls trilogy and will soon have the majority of the Age of Mortals series novels, and I am curious: Do you have to read anything in the Dark Disciple Trilogy to understand Wizard's Conclave? Thanks. DoomsDay349 02:41, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

I have given it the tag now. Have I done it correctly? Havok (T/C/c) 06:48, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Mentos Eruption
Thanks for putting up that message about external links. Probably only the ones to about.com and others explaining how it works are necessary, don't you think? About the "related tricks" part. I think that the title of the section was not very good but I thought that it was interesting that other similar reactions exist. If it is treated more professionally do you think that it could be beneficial? (Toritaiyo 15:44, 26 September 2006 (UTC))

Istar
Hey Rey, I'm planning on writing an article on Istar (in dragonlance), and I want to know which books are good to write it, aside from the obvious Kingpriest Trilogy, which I do not own. I also have in my possession The Reign of Istar, in the Tales series. For the record, I will probably not be reading these books for a good time, as my current reading schedule is long and the Kingpriest is a bit farther down on the list. - Alright, thanks. I'll write the article soon as I have finished those books. DoomsDay349 01:38, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Nexus
Question, for this our write-up on the Nexus, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragonlance_Nexus, do we just need proof of it being in a seperate website like this: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20030822a ? --Kranar drogin 01:02, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Verification of image
Hello ReyBrujo,
Can you tell me what the dispute is regarding the image on the page titled Burn FM? As a new user of wikipedia I'm unsure as to how I can verify the image myself.
Many thanks,

Zatch Bell
Are they really necessary? I mean, linking to images about every attack in the series, seeing the amount of characters and attacks, may not be appropriate. I am tempted to add a {{External links}} tag to the article, but will wait some days to see if there is a good reason for keeping them. -- ReyBrujo 23:23, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
- Please do so. -- Zanimum 19:57, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
Weird English grammar
Hola ReyBrujo, I saw your comment on Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/0.999... and noticed that your English, which I have to say is very good, was slightly incorrect in the series of rhetorical questions you asked. In the phrase "Why we have featured articles about an anime character when only children know who he is?", the correct for would be "Why do we have...". I know, English can be stupid sometimes. Also, in "Why we have featured articles about a painting that probably very few know about its existence, lest see it?" I think you meant the last clause to be "much less see it". I don't mean to sound condescending, it's just that I would be grateful if someone corrected my Spanish on the Spanish-language Wikipedia. Overall, your knowledge of English vocabulary is extremely good; how long have you been speaking it? Supadawg (talk • contribs) 21:21, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

PUI discussion - re: iTV image
I've updated the discussion. After some consideration I believe the user, although I can see why you would have your doubts - he has uploaded a higher resolution version of the same image - and looking at the timestamp on the first upload of the image - it was uploaded to wikipedia before it was posted on the site you linked. A close inspection of the image, also gives away it's domestic rather than professional origins. If you don't have any objections I will de-list this image from WP:PUI in about 24 hours.
