Messed up unicode
[edit]When I saw your edit summary I said to myself, oh hell!, was that me? And it was. It's Chrome that's the culprit. I don't know if it is still doing it. I need to find out, I guess I'll set up a sandbox test. Thanks for catching it. I don't want to abandon Chrome, but if it's still doing that... Dougweller (talk) 06:56, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- No problem. I hadn't expected Chrome to have problems with Unicode. But it’s most likely fixed by now. I only wrote the diff in the summary, because I was somewhat bewildered, that in almost one year no one noticed the faulty text. --Revolus 16:32, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- I've got the latest version of Chrome. I just undid your edit and bang, messed up again. I've used Firefox to fix it, but I wonder how much damage I and others have caused this way? I've asked at the Help Desk. Dougweller (talk) 19:58, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
