Welcome
[edit]Welcome!
Hello, RestoreTheEmpireSociety, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions to Chinese alphabet, though I have reverted part of it because articles should avoid instructional language (see WP:STYLE and WP:TONE). Anyway, I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}}
before the question. Again, welcome! —Umofomia (talk) 05:12, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 00:00, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, I noticed your change here, and unfortunately I had to revert it. Although the information that was said in that quote was incorrect, it was a quote of something that a person had said. Cited quotes should not be changed because it gives the impression that the person said something different from what they really said. —Umofomia (talk) 06:24, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing, such as the edit you made to Roman Ungern von Sternberg. If your vandalism continues, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Edison (talk) 05:00, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
hey i reverted it.....RestoreTheEmpireSociety (talk) 05:02, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
wtf? you removed my revert?
- The article history shows that you added "Good riddance" to the article, then I reverted it. You may have attempted to revert your edit, but I reverted it first. That's what we call an "edit conflict" and is all too common. It is good to remove your own test edits or unencyclopedic additions, but it is better not to add them at all. Best wishes. Edison (talk) 05:06, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- No, I did not "remove your revert" to "make it seem like I had more edits" since my edit count is high enough one more makes little difference. You can check anyone's edit count with Interiot's 'Wannabe Kate' , or see WP:EDITCOUNT for some funny material about editcountitis. Edison (talk) 05:12, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Battle of Shanghai
[edit]It's a propaganda video, as you stated yourself. If you can provide reliable sources (books preferably not written by Chinese or Japan authors, as well as American propagandists), feel free to add that information to the article. -- Ishikawa Minoru (talk) 17:22, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi there
[edit]Regarding your comments on Talk:Seung-Hui Cho: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --Dynaflow babble 00:05, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- but the person was being a complete idiot, how the hell is your name supposed to name you ethnicity? maybe im supposed to have the word chinese as my middle name?RestoreTheEmpireSociety (talk) 00:06, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- Not everyone can be so enlightened. What I had a problem with was that, more than a month after the idea had been discredited in detail and put to sleep, you piled on with a "Me too!" that contributed nothing new to a conversation that had long since ended, and then crowned it with name-calling against the originator of the thread. We need to keep a civil tone here and to assume (up to a limit, of course) that questions are being asked in good faith, even if we find them to be bizarre and/or stupid. 明白不明白? --Dynaflow babble 19:02, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
no i am just concerned that people would read the comment and beleive it

hey all i did was add aquote in response to his on his user page......
- Even if your motivation was from WP:AGF, editing user page should be only by the user who owns the page. Besides, your highly inappropriate page and racist attacks are not accountable as well. You can rebut to my concern on you at WP:ANI. --Caspian blue (talk) 01:05, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
MfD nomination of User:RestoreTheEmpireSociety
[edit]User:RestoreTheEmpireSociety, a page you created, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:RestoreTheEmpireSociety and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:RestoreTheEmpireSociety during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion discussion.
