Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man
[edit]Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edits had to be reverted for the following reasons:
- First, Wikipedia cannot accept unsourced material or original research. This includes material lacking cited sources, material obtained through personal knowledge, or which constitutes the an analysis or interpretation by the editor that is not found in cited sources. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. With regard to the content of comics, citing the issues in question is a good idea. Using the Template:Cite comic may also make it easier for you.
- You changed the credits list so Brian Michael Bendis is credited as having written issues 1 - 28. Only 25 issues of the series have been published, not 28.
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and should be written with care taken in adhering to basic principles of writing. Punctuation, for example, goes at the end of sentences (you created two new sentences without them), the word blackmail is not spelled "blacmail", and proper nouns, including the names of fictional characters, are capitalized. "Spider-Man" is not spelled "Spider-man", and "Gwen Stacy" is not written "Gwen stacy", and I'm perplexed as to why you changed the case in that latter instance.
If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 01:40, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
