Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Raj pattern into Traditional Thai clothing. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 14:42, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Burmese–Siamese War (1568–70)

[edit]

I do not know if you have noticed but your edits have ruined the way references are displayed. The notes that you added do not correspond to anything on the references section, therefore they are not valid. The See Also section is not needed and you have not fixed any typos. Please engage in dialog before you make any further changes.--Catlemur (talk) 15:49, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for the advice, I am sorry if I do something wrong, because my English was poor. In the typos correction, I corrected Kamphaengphet to Kamphaeng Phet. As a reference in the article, I fixed it, if there are other errors, you can revert the article immediately. Thank you very much. Gend07000 (talk) 17:30, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for responding. You need to add references for all the information that you have submitted. For example this section needs a reference (citation):

Thai sources 546,000 Infantry 53,000 Cavalry[citation needed] --Catlemur (talk) 17:45, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hmannan Vol. 2 2003: 402–403 is still not included in the References. Everything claim that is not referenced needs to be removed.--Catlemur (talk) 17:51, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You now need to add references to the claims that have the citiation needed tag and the article will be good.--Catlemur (talk) 18:14, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thank you, I added Hmannan Yazawin in the references, but "546,000 Infantry and 53,000 Cavalry" is original information that contained in this article, I added (citation) because I only known the number that come from Thai sources, I dont know the source book that used as a reference. Gend07000 (talk) 18:28, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the cooperation. See you around.--Catlemur (talk) 19:12, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of recent edit question

[edit]

I thought i was using the sandbox..I did not want it live, wasnt confident which section to correctly exploit this information. If you could let me know the correct area to write the information. It is copy that should be known to the public not so much vandalism lol. i might be mistaken on what perspective your coming from if you would explain . My VPN is putting me Thailand, not sure if that makes a difference. Cheers — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.24.79.48 (talk) 05:33, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to ask for a citation on this Siam etymology.

[edit]

Referencing to an edit you have made here:https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Thailand&diff=prev&oldid=844843182

In the current Thailand wikipedia article there’s a need for citation. I’ve found numerous sources, but from the looks of it, I think it is WP:CIRCULAR (Circular reporting on the wikipedia article itself). To support this, if it isn’t circular reporting, there should be some source having rhmañña without śyāma and श्याम but, when I do a Google query of “rhmañña -śyāma -श्याम” it returns only Reddit WP:USERGENERATED and a Chinese aggregator website.

All in all, I would like you to find the sources necessary to support the statement in your edit about Siam etymology.

This is an effort to bring Thailand article into a higher quality tier, aiming for a Featured article tier eventually. Kornkaobat (talk) 16:34, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Kornkaobat Hello, as far as I remember I copied from wiktionary which has a reference but forgot to include it.

Thank you very much for reviewing and improving Thai articles. Gend07000 (talk) 18:36, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
