For your diligent service
The Third Opinion Award | ||
Reidgreg, this award is for your dedicated service at Wikipedia:Third opinion. Your 83 edits and multiple third opinions provided are appreciated. Thank you for being wise and breaking ties! — Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 07:23, 28 January 2023 (UTC) |
- @Firefangledfeathers: Thanks so much for this and for listing me on the service award page! I've found 3O to be a great place to learn about policy and dispute resolution, and it's been quite satisfying to find solutions that work for both parties. (According to xTools I have 111 edits to the page with 70 answers/responses, if my edit summaries are reliable.) Surprising that I'm the only one to be added in seven years – about the time I created this account – will rectify that shortly. – Reidgreg (talk) 01:03, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
- 111 indeed! I think I got number blindness from reviewing the xTools page. I'm also surprised to see so few awards in recent years, but it makes me very grateful for the still-active old-timers. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 01:52, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
- That Talk:R. Duane Ireland#Infobox 3O was spectacular. Nice work! Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 16:53, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks! I tried to cover all the bases and kept adding to it – glad that nobody else answered while I was writing it up! – Reidgreg (talk) 19:50, 18 May 2023 (UTC)

Main page history
I missed Main page history, and saw that you did at least one manually. The bot resumed on 10 July, but several are still missing. Do you have an idea to get those also? I'd look myself but have first to do some things with a deadline. -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:20, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
- I promised an FAC review and have a lot of personal stuff piling up. It'd be easier if I knew how the bot did it (see my problem with columns for 1 July). I left some notes at User:Reidgreg/Tasks § Main Page archives if you want to give it a try. Reidgreg (talk) 23:05, 18 July 2023 (UTC)

The August 2023 Good Article Nominations Backlog Drive is at the halfway mark, and has seen incredible progress, dropping the backlog from 638 to 359 unreviewed articles -- a 43.7% reduction in only fifteen days! But we still have over two weeks to go, and there are plenty of articles left to review:
- We've gone from 14 nominations 270+ days old and 65 nominations 180+ days old to 2 and 0 respectively. No more articles will reach 270+ status during the drive, and only three more will reach 180+ if unreviewed, so this is your last chance to get the higher age bonuses!
- We still have plenty of articles in the 90+ range, but the list is shrinking fast.
- Some articles need new reviewers, either because they're officially on second opinion or because the original reviews were deleted or invalidated. You can help prevent these articles from waiting longer!
- While there are starting to be clear favourites for the Content Review Medal of Merit, the field is still very open. A late entrant can still pull an upset to get the most reviews in the drive!
And remember: if you've done reviews, you should log them at the backlog drive page for points, so they can be tracked towards your awards at the end.
Thanks for signing up for the drive, and I hope to see you reviewing! Vaticidalprophet 02:01, 15 August 2023 (UTC)

The article Wilhelmina Alexander (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This disambiguation page contains the primary topic and one other topic for the ambiguous title and no other topics can be found within a reasonable time.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:03, 24 November 2023 (UTC)
- Leaving some notes here in case this is pursued further. I would have liked to merge this small dab page into a parent article, as Wilhelm Alexander redirects with a hatnote to William Alexander (disambiguation) but there is no equivalent parent dab page for the feminine form. Which is a shame, because there are an awful lot of variations on the form (Vilhelmina, Vilma, Wilma, and many variations on Alexander) which could be easily misspelled, and which are borderline for individual dab pages (as here) but could easily populate a combined dab page. Perhaps I should try to do something like I did for the dab page Diana Frances which includes variations of Diane and Francis? Anyways, the prod nom/seconder or anyone else can add to this if they have thoughts besides 2-Dab. – Reidgreg (talk) 19:23, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
