A tag has been placed on SocialPicks, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how SocialPicks is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:SocialPicks saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please feel free to use deletion review, but do not continue to repost the article if it is deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. Metros (talk) 16:36, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- This page has already been deleted. Please take it to deletion review if you wish to have the article recreated. Thanks, Metros (talk) 16:36, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Re: User:Metros
[edit]That is weird. That user also seems to have targeted articles I've worked on to do strange things to. He deletes articles I've created and when I mark other articles for deletion he always seems to find those and launch a campaign against me. Very strange individual. I'll look into your pages and get back to you on whether I'll go in on the request for comment with you.Dimension31 (talk) 23:05, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm down. What exactly do we need to do? What do I, specifically, need to do? Dimension31 (talk) 00:39, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Socialpicks.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Socialpicks.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:34, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
