[edit]Hi, thanks for your message. I saw the article when I patrolled it, and it obviously wasn't blatant spam. But to someone who knows nothing about the company and coming to it for the first time, it does look like an advert at the moment. It is good that you have independant references and have used them. I wouldn't say that the article is in imminent danger of being deleted, it that's what you are worried about. I'll have a search around wikipedia and see if there's a portal or two I can add to the talk page. That may bring along more editors who know more about the subject and the location of the subject, that would be able to add to and improve the article. Mjroots (talk) 21:18, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I've revised the refs, using the cite web template {{cite web | url = | first = | last = | origyear = | origmonth = | publisher = | work = | title = | accessdate = 2008-01-01}} - easy to use, just add in relevant pieces of info, (usually URL, publisher, title, access date) and leave rest blank. Also added wikiproject Arizona to the talk page - you might want to join that project if AZ is your home state. Mjroots (talk) 21:35, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
No problem. It takes a while to learn all the ins and outs of wikipedia, I'm still learning myself! Mjroots (talk) 21:52, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of ASUIsTalking
[edit]A tag has been placed on ASUIsTalking, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 20:41, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Deleted article
[edit]Hello there, I deleted the articleDavid and Sam PR which I believe you originated, after it was tagged for speedy deletion by another editor. It was not poorly written, nor did it read as advertising. But it did fail to assert how the subject meets the criteria for notability at WP:ORG. Multiple, independent sources dealing substantially with the subject are needed. Please post below if you need any help in re-writing the article, and if I can help, I will. Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 17:22, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article EnviroCar, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Arsenikk (talk) 20:23, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
The article IsTalking has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable company
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. LukeSurl t c 13:35, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
