[edit]Hi. I noticed you changed the History section of Horndean to update the derivation of the place name. This has changed a number of times in the articles history, with the explanation you give being quite popular, and IMHO not a bad one either. However, it would be good to have a citation for the definition you give. I wrote the previous derivation from a source documented at Talk:Horndean, but have not found a source I could link to directly or a book with the details. If you have such a source for your derivation please add it to the talk and/or the main page so the derviation can be 'proved' and does not keep changing.Ben 11:35, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
