[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 06:53, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
I would like to add my welcome, and thanks for your contributions to the article on Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior. Please take a look at the Wikipedia:Manual of Style and its associated manuals and guides. In particular, I owuld like to point out:
- The Wikipedia style for capitalizing headings is to use "sentence case" instead of "title case", e.g.,
- Important things to know about this subject
not:
- Important Things to Know About This Subject
This may be unfamiliar to many editors who believe that or have been taught that "title case is the right way to capitalize headings". It isn't the "right way", it is one style. Wikipedia has, for better or worse, chosen to follow a different style, i.e., capitalize the heading the same way you would capitalize any sentence:
- capitalize the first word,
- capitalize any proper nouns (people, places, organizations), and
- begin all other words with lower case letters.
See WP:MSH for more information.
- It is generally a bad idea to link the same thing repeatedly, or to link plain English words - this adds unnecssary clutter to the article without providing any value to the reader. Please see WP:OVERLINK.
- Do link the article name in the article. And don't link variations of the name (like the acronym IIIITM) which redirect to the article.

Please go and correct the new stylistic errors you have made. I do not wish to revert your changes, but I am not willing to fix your errors if you insist on making the same ones repeatedly. Thank you. Ground Zero | t 18:21, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Your attention, please!
[edit]I have cleaned up after you again. In addition to fixing the errors I pointed out above, I have spelled out numbers ten and under per WP:MOSNUM and removed in-line external links. External links belong int he external links section, not in the text of the article. See WP:LINKS.
If you continue to ignore my requests to follow Wikipedia style, I will revert your edits. Please don't waste your time and mine. Thank you. Ground Zero | t 11:34, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Gwalior / Category:IIITM Gwalior
[edit]Hi, I've reverted your addition of Category:IIITM Gwalior to the article on the city of Gwalior. This is because:
- the category does not exist (it is redlinked, meaning it has not been created)
- it doesn't make sense: the city is not a member of the Institute's category
