- haha, it's been on and off. i was just trying to get the tedious work of adding the cast list to the eppy pages but i never knew it would take so long. i suppose i have too much time on my hands >_> redsparta 20:21, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
Feel free to delete this message after you read it. I wanted to draw your attention to the talk page of the series main page. I'm discussing adding character pictures to the page and I want to get a green light from you and Proto before doing so. H2P 05:32, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Why did you remove my link to the pick of Ozai's face? Its a picture from a site around Avatar. Its not an uploaded image. And,seing as his face has been the subject of such discussion amongst fans, why THE HECK did you remove it? New Babylon
Earth Kingdom Locations
[edit]Honestly I just moved that section there so they'd stop putting it on the Earth Kingdom page and we wouldn't have to war so much. If the whole page gets deleted I'm good with that. H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 04:40, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- That would be fine with me. As I see it, as of now, there's so little information on most of the locations the only worthwile ones are the major cities which are already listed on the Earth Kingdom page. -Redsparta 05:20, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Redsparta! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 313 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Improving chart at Legality of cannabis by U.S. jurisdiction
[edit]This article is the most-viewed page for cannabis issues in the US (~1,500 views/day). I think we can streamline it to make it less clunky and more intuitive for readers, especially now that we have state-specific articles for all US states. California High-Speed Rail vital article
[edit]Really? Let's add it when/if it opens. Until now I can't see how its significance can be compared to existing HSR systems with significant patronage. I would have added something like Korea Train Express first. feminist (talk) 12:48, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
- I was thinking about that as I was adding it, if it deserves a place on the list considering it’s not due to open for a number of years still, and if we are already looking to cull then there are assuredly others that are currently more deserving of being on there, however I felt it notable as the first HSR in the U.S. (North America, even?). So if push comes to shove I agree it should be removed until/if it opens but I felt that since Vital articles/L5 (Vital articles/L5/Technology also) is still a ways off from being complete (a little over halfway) it could stand to be on there for the time being but if you don’t think it stands up I won’t dissent in its removal. redsparta ••• talk to me 00:33, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
- I think Acela is America's first HSR. feminist (talk) 02:43, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
- Hmm, I wasn’t aware of the Acela Express reaching HSR speeds but it’s kind of a technicality as it only seems to operate at HSR speeds of 150 mph on 34 miles of its 457 mile route and it shares its track with much slower commercial and passenger rail. redsparta ••• talk to me 03:37, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
- I think Acela is America's first HSR. feminist (talk) 02:43, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
- But yes, it's true that the list is far from complete. I was just curious why you picked that article instead of other existing systems. feminist (talk) 02:45, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
- I didn’t necessarily pick it over other systems but more, personally, as a prominent thought it was one that came to mind. I’m still kind of learning of HSR around the world so I wasn’t aware of for example the Korea Train Express. redsparta ••• talk to me 03:37, 24 July 2018 (UTC)

Well, I deleted the mention of the super Mario wiki on the page called list of Mario franchise characters and three days later, a vandal called miraclepine readded it and I don't want to get into an edit war. So, can you please tell miraclepine to not do anything when I remove the mention? The Lord of Falafel (talk) 16:49, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
- I am not an administrator so I can’t make someone stop doing something but if someone is not acting in WP:GOOD FAITH I would bring it up with someone like Sergecross73. However, it looks like they were adding it to the external links section, and external links isn’t necessarily as strict about what is acceptable as reference sourcing is. According to Links to be considered: "Sites that fail to meet criteria for reliable sources yet still contain information about the subject of the article from knowledgeable sources" is acceptable for external links. redspartatalk 23:00, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for reverting.
[edit]Thanks for reverting Template:Super Smash Bros. my edits. I wasn't sure if what I was doing was going to be accepted because of the solo page, but I followed WP:BOLD and just did it. Maccore Henni Mii! Pictochat Mii! 18:17, 21 February 2020 (UTC)

Botched edit
[edit]Hi there, regarding my edit here, you are completely right and what you removed was exactly what I intended to remove for the same reason, but somehow I managed to do the opposite. That IP is the latest of a long-term vandal described here, and they add variations of this stuff to either the infobox, the article proper, or to the categories at the end of the article, e.g "cancelled gamecube releases", etc. Eik Corell (talk) 03:58, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
- No worries. I actually brought the actions of a user doing similar things up at the WikiProject Video games talk page late last year (see archived discussion) and an IP has been continuing to perform similar edits since; I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same person. redspartatalk 04:45, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
PlayStation 5 Sales Citation
[edit]Hi. Regarding the reference I included for the PS5 sales, the reference itself had not been duplicated, even though it had been cited twice throughout the PS5 article. As long as a reference includes a named footnote, it can be cited multiple times throughout an article and will still only appear once in the bibliography. Wikipedia actually encourages this practice when citing the same source multiple times. Learn more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Footnotes#WP:NAMEDREFS and here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources#Footnotes. Because sales of the PlayStation 5 system are going to be a highly discussed issue from this point, it’s probably important to have a citation in the infobox as well as in the main body of text.
Also, just a heads up, apostrophes are not used to represent plurals. So the plural of "PS5" would be "PS5s" and not "PS5's".The Editor 155 (talk) 04:02, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- The Editor 155 (talk · contribs), a single source can be cited multiple times, absolutely. However, if multiple claims are citing the same source, guidelines encourage using the "ref name" template. The full ref tag was being used to cite the same reference multiple times which kind of defeats the purpose of using the "ref name" template: to point to the identical ref already being used elsewhere in the article. And I'm not gonna throw a fit about the cite for sales figures being in the infobox, however WP:INFOBOXREF discourages using references in the infobox if the same information is already cited in the body (which it is, in the Sales section). redspartatalk 00:06, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
Okay, thanks for clarifying. I shortened the infobox citation to only include the "ref name" template. The Editor 155 (talk) 04:02, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

Bad grammar?
[edit]What do you mean by bad grammar exactly? I do have a bit of a mental disability, so it kind of feels you are unintentionally insulting me because of my handicap. I am not accusing you of being a bully or anything, I just need some clarification.
- It was particularly the three consecutive uses of "however." Your undo appeared to be bad faith reversion of some appropriate copyediting which may have perhaps influenced my wording. Apologies. redspartatalk 04:48, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
Hello Redsparta, i see your a pokemon fan. i have a question
[edit]On the pokemon red and blue article, i have made a few changes, i have spoken to a few admins and they say the edits i made was good. wanted to know if your happy with the few edits i made.. i made a few changes regarding pokemon green, basically saying it was the only game that wasn't released outside of Japan, unlike red and blue was, wanted to hear your thoughts on this as you seem to have made a few edits on pokemon aswell, thankyou! EzeeWiki (talk) 02:30, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
- It's basically re-stating information that is already there earlier in the paragraph. The information being included is fine but it doesn't need to be stated twice. redspartatalk 03:24, 11 June 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Revert on Pokemon Sword and Shield
[edit]Hey! I noticed that you reverted an IP that removed blank parameters from the infobox. May I ask why you reverted the IP? ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 05:24, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
- I don't see the harm in them being there. They're there if the applicable information becomes/is available to fill in and let's people less familiar with Wikipedia know that it is supported information in the infobox; if they don't get used they aren't really hurting anything by being there. redspartatalk 02:28, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
