Frederica Sagor Maas

If you have a minute, I threw up all over Frederica Sagor Maas, and I need someone to correct my grammar. I think by the time I finish a big rewrite, my eyes get tired and I don't see all the tiny things. thanks. EraserGirl (talk) 05:16, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Douglas Bader is being reviewed for GA listing. It has been put on hold for an initial 14 days to allow issues such as prose, inline citing and detailed coverage to be addressed. SilkTork *YES! 16:45, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

Happy 10th Anniversary of Wikipedia!

Hi, I came across your page when I was looking for someone who could be interested in writing article about a Coventry`s engineering company, Penso Consulting (unfortunately I have COI and I cannot develop the article myself).

I believe that the company ought to be on Wikipedia. Firstly, it has coverage in media like Low cost carbon composite chassis or ANV eVito Taxi. Secondly, it is a british company, located in a centre of historical automotive area of UK.

I could support you with necessary information but your opinion will remain a neutral point of view. Soon the new Penso website will go life, thus, you may find there information and decide if you would like to contribute to this article. I would really appreciate any help! Please contact me either on my page or here. Thanks! Have a great day ;) (Jk065no (talk) 08:05, 8 July 2011 (UTC))

Wikipedian in Residence at the National Library of Scotland

I'm just dropping you a quick note about a new Wikipedian in Residence job that's opened up at the National Library of Scotland. There're more details at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Scotland#Wikimedian in Residence at the National Library of Scotland. Richard Symonds (WMUK) (talk) 15:02, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Thank you for nominating Banner Lane. I have a few concerns, and would appreciate your addressing them. Thank you. 7&6=thirteen () 19:27, 7 February 2016 (UTC)

I'll donate a QPQ, so you won't have to do one. Please tweak the article, as I like it. But I don't want someone getting on our case about "close paraphrasing" as it is pretty darn strict. So please don't bow out. 7&6=thirteen () 20:15, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
I am donating a QPQ: Template:Did you know nominations/The Music Machine. I would prefer that you succeed in this effort. Welcome back! 7&6=thirteen () 20:20, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
Very kind of you 7&6=thirteen - I'm a bit slow but I'll give it a shot in due course when I can give it proper attention.:) Red Sunset 20:28, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
It's a really good article. Just drop it into the cuisinart. Or you can do like the "ninja movie reviewer"s description of the Pirates of the Caribbean script writing process. Cheers. 7&6=thirteen () 20:35, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
Earwig's Copy Violation Detector: Banner Lane Take a look. You have like three or four sentences that need serious work. But you are making progress. 7&6=thirteen () 22:02, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for the help. I don't know how many other ways it's possible to say the same things succinctly and elegantly, but I'll give it a break for now and come back to it with a fresh mind. BTW, not being American I had to look up cuisinart - that would certainly rearrange things a bit! Red Sunset 22:25, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
I figured you have no experience with Earwig. Good to put it into your bag of tricks. Great way to compare two pages. Once you look at the article I contributed for the QPQ (including my review) it will give you a feel for how to do a QPQ in the future. It is useful to use the Reviewer template that appears on a DYK page. Good luck! 7&6=thirteen () 23:36, 7 February 2016 (UTC)

Did you watch the Ninja review? It is hilarious. 7&6=thirteen () 23:37, 7 February 2016 (UTC)

Certainly did - some people are seriously off the scale ;), and thanks for the creepie-crawlie BTW - I'll let it run amok later on hopefully. Cheers.Red Sunset 18:23, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
Added another contributor.
Please use Earwig's report, and make sure to clean up all of the close paraphrasing. The review on this article has not been completed. Let me know when you are finished. 7&6=thirteen () 18:57, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
