Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Ditz246, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you edited was Travel literature, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

The one firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! You can also just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! StarM 18:17, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation

[edit]
Starters with Mocktales, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you are more than welcome to continue submitting work to Articles for Creation.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

Suggestion

[edit]

Please use "show preview" (located next to "save page") as this will allow you to change your contributions before submitting and prevent edit conflicts and exhausted servers. SwisterTwister talk 04:27, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, I believe that it should be at the "reception" section as that would be the appropriate place. Filling the lead paragraph with too much information such as that may overwhelm the paragraph. SwisterTwister talk 06:02, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Use a shared IP network, and have not even edited pages for a while (and so certainly did not vandalise anything)

Decline reason:

This appears to be an autoblock if that's the case. Please refer to the directions at Template:Autoblock in order to appeal the block. The biggest part is #3 which tells you how to appeal this. only (talk) 14:39, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The article Sum to Infinity (book) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no possible notability--book is not even in WorldCat

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.
