Request reason:
My username — nickname is known and associated with me in some technical newsgroups and FidoNet echo since about 1996. Domain name real.kiev.ua (registered 1998-12-17, you can search it at hostmaster site — sorry, no direct link available) and non-commercial website also represents myself as individual. The username was registered in uk.wiki 2006-02-20 and converted to SUL 2012-05-07. If you pretty sure that I have to change the name, then I should do it. But I do not understand why. ---- About my (unsuccessful) contribution to en.wikipedia. My edition to Pysanka was deleted as spam. It is not spam. I need no promotion for myself and my site this way, my interests and main website themes are in electronics. Link to "DIY pysachok" video-lesson is not intended for promotion my website. Just illustration for 4th paragraph in Pysanka#Making pysanky chapter. The same as "Pysanka Writing Videos" link in Pysanka#External_links is not a spam for some classes and books promotion — isn't it? I can believe that the link is "not so notable" for English article about Ukrainian Easter eggs and must be removed. Still "not notable" does not mean "spam". Btw, "DIY pysachok" lesson is good enough for Ukrainian article about Ukrainian Еaster eggs. And all my editions of Ukrainian "Pysanka" article (including "DIY" link adding) are verified and present in current revision of the article. p.s. Almost all "deleted editions" in my (very short at this time) contribution list are "speedy deletion template" adding to spam/vandalsim/dirty pages. I could be wrong about the importance of information for en wiki but I am not a spammer. ReAl (talk) 13:54, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Unfortunately, the moment you linked to your website, this userid instantly violated our username policy and you became in one simple edit a spammer. That's unfortunate, considering your history, however, you did it (✉→BWilkins←✎) 14:19, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

- @Alexf and DangerousPanda: Sorry, I can not understand, what group, organization or website the username ReAl give the impression that the account reperesents? Explain me, please, I don't know any of them, i.e. group, organization or website named as ReAl. Indeed, ReAl is unique, it can't mix with any of real (disambiguation). He is an administrator of ukwiki, see Special:CentralAuth/ReAl. Remember WP:GF, please. — Yuriy Dzyаdyk (t•c), 14:47, 5 September 2017 (UTC).
- @Dzyadyk: I don't need any protection or assistance in this situation. As an administrator I understand perfectly: dura lex, sed lex. So, this is my own choice — to leave blocked (and on an editor nomination I reported this blockage) but not to change the login name I use on the fido/usenet since the mid-1990s. Thank you for your desire to be a peacemaker, but I do not need it. In the end, I can read the enwiki. For writing I have ukwiki. --ReAl (talk) 19:17, 6 September 2017 (UTC)
