If we go by your defination

then osama bin laden is also a militant and not a terrorist ???????? right ?? a terrorist is a terrorist , not a a millitant

so you can go and read some more about it —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pungimaster (talkcontribs) 07:12, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

I happen to agree that Maulana Masood Azhar is a terrorist. However, that label happens to be my (and your) opinion and does not adhere to one of wikipedia's core policies, WP:NPOV. There is no universally agreed upon definition of terrorism. According to WP:TERRORIST, you can use the word terrorist but you have to state who (India, the United States, the United Nations, etc.) believes the person is a terrorist. And to address the Bin Laden topic, the issue has never been agreed upon on Bin Laden's page. Here are just a few examples of the many unsettled discussions on the topic: Talk:Osama_bin_Laden/Archive_16#.22Islamicist_terrorist.22 and Talk:Osama_bin_Laden#Use_of_the_word_Terrorist.--RDavi404 (talk) 16:22, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi. You added the Basque attack on July 28, but anons are removing it because they consider it not to be a terrorist attack because no one was killed or injured and it's too minor. However, I thought that even failed attempts were to be included, and there are several others in the article with 0 killed and injured. I have already reverted this once, but I do not wish to revert again, as I am not especially specialized in editing these articles. Thanks. ~AH1(TCU) 16:02, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Dalton

The following link, (http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20081017/firm_explosion_081017/20081017?hub=World) the source link, is confusing. The title says in Georgia, but the content (second para.) says Dalton, Tenn. Is that a country that happens to be the same name? Or maybe it's like Kansas City straddling the border? Re: Reverting Edits on Islamabad Marriott Hotel bombing

I understand, but I only reverted because the way the organization was spelled created a red link. Sorry for the misunderstanding.  Acro 19:55, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Maulana Fazlullah

Does the section "February 2009 Ceasefire" belong in the Maulana Fazlullah article at all? --Bejnar (talk) 19:15, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

You're probably right. It is incomplete and is described elsewhere. Perhaps that section should be cleaned up and the reader directed towards the actual article?--RDavi404 (talk) 22:39, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

edit war (moved here from top of page)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Maulana Masood Azhar‎. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. -- Pungimaster (talk) 02:21, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

ITN for Baitullah Mehsud

Current events globe On 26 August, 2009, In the news was updated with a news item that involved the article Baitullah Mehsud, which you substantially updated. If you know of another interesting news item involving a recently created or updated article, then please suggest it on the In the news candidates page.

Rdavi404 thank you for your work on this article. The whole US heard James Jones say he was 90% sure that Mr. Mehsud was dead. Thanks to you and the BBC now we know for sure. -SusanLesch (talk) 19:58, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Stop being a tool of the maoist terrorists

Stop being a tool of the maoist terrorists and editing their wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Communist_Party_of_India_%28Maoist%29&action=history according to their party line.

Why are you hiding their criminals deeds like beheading people and massacring children and women? Why are edits made by other contributors removed by you?

You need to stop behaving like a online propaganda agent of the maoists and act with a neutral point of view. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mahesh2001 (talkcontribs) 08:03, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Mahesh, I am just making sure that any information on the page is following Wikipedia guidelines of neutral point of view and WP:verifiability. The information you insist on putting into this article cannot be verified by the sources cited. If you can find reliable sources that verify the information then please feel free to share those. For the record, I have also removed the blog links that your ideological counterparts insist on including.--RDavi404 (talk) 16:54, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Warning

Do not remove the information again. Read this before you start reverting. I know you are a sockpuppet, and I know all your other socks.--210.2.177.244 (talk) 19:40, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

You totally misquoted the source. The Yahoo article clearly stated that it was President Obama making the "hedging bets" claim and not anonymous "analysts." Anyways, it seems like you've figured it out because the article is attributing Obama and Hilary Clinton's statements clearly.--RDavi404 (talk) 16:16, 22 October 2011 (UTC)

TTP

Hi, regarding this content. I removed because where it is right now, it's no coherrent narrative. Before we have the Taliban fleeing in 2001, then suddenly the narrative jumps to Kandahar in 2006. I do not consider this part very important. If you do, we should consider moving it to another spot in the narrative. JCAla (talk) 17:26, 4 January 2012 (UTC)

While there is a gap between 2001-2006, the point being made is the ease with which militants cross the border. It seems to me that the point adheres to the main idea of that paragraph. If you believe that it merits a new paragraph, I am fine with that.--RDavi404 (talk) 17:56, 4 January 2012 (UTC)

I moved one sentence, so now it is easier to understand. But generally, I am not sure, if in the article they are truely referring to the TTP. I think they are referring to Pakistani nationals (unrelated to the TTP) fighting for the Afghan Taliban of Mullah Omar. JCAla (talk) 08:20, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

TTP article

Hi, do you think we might get the TTP article nominated for Good Article review? We might have to do some work, but I'd be interested in it. What about you? Greetings, JCAla (talk) 08:18, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

Hi JCAla - I would very much like to see that happen, but yes it would need a lot of work. Looking at WP:GA?, I see a few possible problems. Although it is relatively stable right now, future events might cause a sudden rush of editors to the page. Also, as you know, the subject matter can quickly turn into a very emotional debate in regards to its neutrality. (I would also like to see more illustrations but have avoided that in the past due to concerns of copyright.)
With that said, I'm all for trying. Perhaps, this discussion should continue on the article talk page? Cheers, --RDavi404 (talk) 13:52, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
Ok, responded on the article talk. JCAla (talk) 15:45, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

Peer review limits changed

This is a notice to all users who currently have at least one open peer review at Wikipedia:Peer review. Because of the large number of peer review requests and relatively low number of reviewers, the backlog of PRs has been at 20 or more almost continually for several months. The backlog is for PR requests which have gone at least four days without comments, and some of these have gone two weeks or longer waiting for a review.

While we have been able to eventually review all PRs that remain on the backlog, something had to change. As a result of the discussion here, the consensus was that all users are now limited to one (1) open peer review request.

If you already have more than one open PR, that is OK in this transition period, but you cannot open any more until all your active PR requests have been closed. If you would like someone to close a PR for you, please ask at Wikipedia talk:Peer review. If you want to help with the backlog, please review an article whoe PR request is listed at Wikipedia:Peer review/backlog/items. Thanks, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 01:05, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

Questions about Wikipedia & SuggestBot

Hi, we’ve been running a research experiment with SuggestBot and would like to ask you some questions about Wikipedia and SuggestBot. You can find more information and the questions on this page. It should take less than ten minutes to respond. We would greatly appreciate if you had the time to participate! Regards, Nettrom (talk) 20:27, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

Stopping by just once with a reminder that we would really like to hear from you! We've made the instructions and one of the questions a little less confusing. Cheers, Nettrom (talk) 21:29, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
