Your AfD close
I agree with your close of the AfD on George W. Bush substance abuse controversy, but I had to fix a small technical mistake. Where there's been a prior AfD, you need to use a different template. Otherwise, the link that's supposed to lead to the second discussion just goes back to the first one. See Template:Old AfD multi/doc for the gory details. JamesMLane t c 03:19, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi, I'm afraid I have removed the DYK for which you claimed points, as you did most of the work and nominated it last year. The work and nomination must have been done this year. If you have any questions, please contact me on my talk page. Thanks, J Milburn (talk) 16:28, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

An idea to think about
Hi Rcsprinter. I just wanted to drop by and propose an idea that Maryana told me about...
The gist is, we're working on A/B testing the warning templates used by bots and other tools with this WikiProject. We know your bot that reverts test edits doesn't leave a warning (which is fine by us), but we are currently testing the warnings of 28bot, which does the same thing as your bot.
What we're interested in doing is testing to see whether it is better to leave a warning or not, by comparing what registered editors do after being reverted by both your bots. This wouldn't require changing how your bot works, just implementing some stuff to track which editors get reverted. If that sounds interesting, let me know and I'll explain more.
Thanks, Steven Walling (WMF) • talk 22:02, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- Hi there. First, my bot does issue warnings, (see?), but very rarely and only if the test edit is quite large and disruptive. I would be interested in this thing. I can't see my warnings getting in the way of the test though, if it's only made 7 in three months. Tell me how to implement this tracking stuff, it seems interesting, a nice initiative! I see that you non-admin closed this one. What ended up happening with the other nominated article, Coachmaster (bus_company)? UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 21:51, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
- Could you please reverse your close in order to permit discussion about the second nominated article? This would not affect the first article, already userfied - your close on that one is fine, but it's just that there were two. No need to re-nominate the second when the original AFD is a day old.
