Executive Order 13769
[edit]Hi - I noticed that you were editing the page on the Executive Order 13769, however your additions were not sourced and as such they were removed by another editor. This article is about something that's extremely controversial, which means that your edits need to be especially carefully written and sourced. You need to make sure that the material is properly sourced and that none of the content comes across as a personal opinion or original research.
This sentence in particular does not fit into the NPOV policy: " These protests are vital to the importance of proving that the executive order is uncalled for, however could bring negative attention as well." While I share your frustration for this EO, you cannot put something like this into the article as it's seen as a personal opinion. We can only include things that have been stated by others in reliable sources and even then the statement would have to be made my a notable or major enough person to really justify inclusion. You also need to be careful about how things are phrased. Avoid terms like "recently" as that quickly becomes dated when more time passes and the event isn't considered to be recent. It's also imprecise.
I hope that this helps explain why the content was removed! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:06, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
