Proposed deletion of Hamish Hossain

The Flame Flower and npp

Hallo, I came across this while stub-sorting (I look out for stubs sorting as "The" which need title changes or DEFAULTSORT fixes), and noticed that you'd edited it at New Pages Patrol.

Just a couple of reminders:

It would have been useful to move the article to Flame Flower, as the article titles doesn't need "The"

The article made it clear that this is another name for Delonix regia. Most plant and animal articles in Wikipedia use the scientific name as their title, so it would have been worth checking to see whether there was an existing article at that name. There is. I've redirected, and left a note on the creating editor's talk page.

Hi. I've declined your speedy request because there is enough context (just) to identify it, and also because A7 doesn't apply to villages. While groups of people are subject to A7, a village is a location and would have to be dealt with by prod or at AfD. CSD gets very complicated at times... Guy Vidra

Hi. Could you please explain why you deleted a sourced passage from my article? As far as I can tell, it is not libelous. I clearly stated that this is the Mediaite writer's opinion. Vidra is mostly known for the fracas he caused at TNR, and the source i cited was relatively benign, believe me. Also, the template? I don't understand. My article has four sources (well, three, now that you have deleted one of them). I'm trying my best to write neutrally.
