File copyright problem with File:Thereddevils.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Thereddevils.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and thesource of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tagto the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 00:23, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
Regarding your revert of my edit
[edit]Hi Rahuloff, I note that you reverted an edit of mine on the Concerns and controversies over the 2010 Commonwealth Gamesarticle (see changes made). Do note that my edit was legal and did not violate any editing principle/guideline. Possibly you were against the changes I made in that edit – but I suppose you should have stated why so in the edit summary. Nevertheless, I'll take things ingood faith. I just undid your edit; if need be, we can discuss this and I'll be more than willing to return to status quo if I see it appropriate afterwards. Best, ANGCHENRUI Talk♨ 10:47, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- err sorry it was my mistake got confused with 2010 Commonwealth games Sorry for inconvenience RahuloofText me 10:59, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- Haha it's okay! You didn't think I replaced the entire 2010 Commonwealth games article with a whole list of concerns no? That would have been shocking. Cheers :P ANGCHENRUI Talk♨ 11:08, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the templates
[edit]Hi Rahuloof, welcome onboard WikiProject Multi-sport events! Thanks for creating the welcome template and the userbox — I think they're lovely. You know, on a different line of thought, maybe we should change the main image used in all the templates (including the project banner)? Somehow, I find the image we've picked so far... lacking in some way. Any ideas? Cheers, ANGCHENRUI Talk♨ 09:24, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the compliment but i am unable to find any good image for WikiProject Multi-sport events but i have uploaded a image but not sure it is suitable or not RahulText me 10:14, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not sure, the image seems to imply various sports taking place without any hint of an event binding them together. We need something more definitive in my opinion. ANGCHENRUI Talk♨ 14:54, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe Flickr might have suitable ones, I'll go browse through later. ANGCHENRUITalk♨ 14:55, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

November copy edit drive
[edit]Greetings from the Guild of Copy Editors Backlog Elimination Drive!
The Wikipedia Guild of Copy-Editors invites you to participate in the November 2010 Backlog Elimination Drive, a month-long effort to reduce the backlog of articles that require copy-editing. The drive will begin on 1 November at 00:00 (UTC) and will end on 30 November at 23:59 (UTC). The goal for this drive is to reduce the backlog by 10% (approximately 500 articles). We hope to focus our efforts on the oldest three months (January, February, and March 2009) and the newest three months (September, October, and November 2010) of articles in the queue. Sign-up has already begun at the November drive page, and will be open throughout the drive. If you have any questions or concerns, please leave a message on the drive's talk page. Before you begin copy-editing, please carefully read the instructions on the main drive page. Please make sure that you know how to copy-edit, and be familiar with the Wikipedia Manual of Style. Awards and barnstars A range of barnstars will be awarded to active participants, some of which are exclusive to GOCE drives. More information on awards can be found on the main drive page. Thank you; we look forward to meeting you on the drive! |
