Criticism of Mormonism Edits
[edit]Why did you remove the cite requests from Criticism of Mormonism (as shown here: [[1]])? I re-added them - I hope it is clear what I am looking for. I think we need to show what the apologists are actually saying, rather than just having statistics as references. Otherwise the whole section will read as Original Research. Until we can get those references in, I also added an Original Research tag to the section. --Descartes1979 (talk) 05:35, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- I saw that you reverted my edits without discussion - Please discuss these issues before reverting my edits. You can post here or on my talk page. I would like to avoid a revert war if possible. --Descartes1979 (talk) 07:24, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- Once again, you removed my request for cites, and the WP:OR tag. Please discuss these things before removing them - we need to come to an agreement rather than senseless revert warring. In the past, the editors of Criticism of Mormonism have discussed and agreed that, in order to avoid Original Research, we agreed that all critical and apologetic arguments should have a citation from a notable critic, or apologist. As I stated in my first message to you, I think we need citations for the points you added. If you only give statistical references, then it comes across that it is you that is making the arguments, and not a notable apologist - and as such the section clearly takes on the feel of Original Research. Please discuss further so we don't go on with this revert war. I will be asking some other editors to review the situation and chime in with their thoughts as well. --Descartes1979 (talk) 17:12, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- I just opened up a discussion on the article's talk page in an attempt to resolve this apparent dispute. Please visit that page and chime in with your thoughts. --Descartes1979 (talk) 17:27, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- Rayhade - please respond to the messages above. I noticed that you reverted once again one of my edits without discussing it or giving a reason. If this little revert war goes any further without discussion, I will report your edits for arbitration. --Descartes1979 (talk) 07:29, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

As you have continued to revert all of my edits over the last couple of days, I am reporting this issue on the Admin notice board. Let me know when you are ready to talk. --Descartes1979 (talk) 08:47, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
