Spelling correction improperly reverted
[edit]In Kagome Higurashi, you reverted a spelling correction by User:76.212.81.32. He changed "realises" to "realizes". The latter is correct. So you should not have reverted him. JRSpriggs 07:50, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- "Realises" isn't wrong, it's British English. As far as Wikipedia guidelines state there's no preference, and since I don't go round Wikipedia changing everything to British English, I'm often slightly annoyed by coming across an edit whose sole purpose is to change something to American English. Hence this revert. Rawling 12:21, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was not aware that this was one of those words which we colonials systematically mangle. JRSpriggs 07:01, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Thank you!
[edit]Thank you for spotting and reverting the Vandalism on my talk page. :3 I believe that's his {{test5}}, too. PumeleonT 22:36, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- Heh, glad to be of help. Recent Changes patrol is a good form of catharsis ^^ Rawling 22:37, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed, I usually do main namespace RC, though, so I miss a lot of the libellous vandalismery. Yes, I just made that word up. OH NOES NON-NOTABALE NEOLOGISM! X3 PumeleonT 22:49, December 16, 2006

UNATCO - nom for deletion
[edit]I have an idea of solving this by nominating the article for deletion. Well, it may pass or not, but AMIB will blank it anyway w/o that. If you can, please add some sources prior to that. Or comment if you disagree. CP/M comm |Wikipedia Neutrality Project| 00:26, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- You may have me wrong here; my revets of the blanking of a few Deus-Ex related articles were part of a normal RC patrol - I hate to see anything just deleted, especially when there is an actual discussion going on. However, I have played Deus Ex so i do have a little invested in the decision - I will try to remember to look in on the AfD discussion when it gets underway. Rawling 00:35, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well, don't worry yet then, just wanted to discuss with people involved. I'll post when it comes to that, if he continues to blank the articles. CP/M comm |Wikipedia Neutrality Project| 00:38, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
ROTS
[edit]I'm sorry, I think I'm going to give you permission right now to talk to me like I'm a four-year-old. I'm confused on exactly what point you are trying to make. From what I understand, Lucas changed something in Return of the Jedi that resulted in Anakin and the suited Vader not being played by the same actor. What changes are you speaking of? Many thanks for reverting the edits on my editor review, somehow I don't think those comments were going to help me be a better editor! Thanks again RyanPostlethwaiteSee the mess I've created or let's have banter 17:17, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

I award this barnstar to Rawling. You've only just arrived in WP:UW but your contribution already stands out and if you continue in this manner, will be a welcome asset to our project. Khukri (talk . contribs) 22:03, 14 January 2007 (UTC) |
an in group (mathematics)
[edit]Hi. I didn't want to revert you twice at group (mathematics), but I don't understand your last edit. What do you mean with "or other suitable composition depending on the group operator"? What other composition is there? -- Jitse Niesen (talk) 02:34, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't like the way that line assumes the group operation is multiplication, when it could be addition, or composition of functions, or presumably some other operation. That said, I didn't word it very well. I was going to put in the whole definition of an I just got in my Algebra 2 course (which includes the cases when n=0 and n<0, as well as being for a general group operation rather than just multiplication) but I couldn't really see a good place to put it. re: footer
[edit]oh I know, but my browser window is big enough that it appears below the toolbox and doesn't cover up the wikimedia logo unless I scroll all the way down. It's just for my convenience anyway. .froth. (talk) 21:04, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
