Heat sink
[edit]I have moved the images you inserted in heat sink (File:EBHeatsink.jpg and File:EBExhaust.JPG) to computer cooling as I think this is a more appropriate article. Also, I think a single image showing both parts of the cooling system together would be simpler and better. Could you take another shot? SpinningSpark 19:23, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- What licence you tag the images with entirely depends on where they came from and what rights you want to grant. If you took the pictures yourself you can tag them with
{{cc-by-sa-3.0}}
. Just copy that to each image page, including the curly braces. See here for what that licence means. If they came from somewhere else, you need to get permission of the owner first. Tag them soon, otherwise they will be deleted. SpinningSpark 07:45, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- You also need to add some basic information to the images. You can do it like this,
{{Information
|Description=A description of what is in the picture
|Source=Self created
|Date=date picture taken
|Author=~~~
}}
- Once you have done those two things you can delete the warning templates on the image pages and they won't get removed from Wikipedia. SpinningSpark 08:00, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
File:EBRAM.JPG listed for deletion
[edit]A file that you uploaded or altered, File:EBRAM.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. File:KingstonFDrive.JPG transferred to commons as File:Kingston DataTraveler flash drive disassembled.jpg
[edit]Hi there,
Thank you for your great image, File:KingstonFDrive.JPG.
I noticed that was still on English Wikipedia and has been tagged for a suggested move to Commons for seven years(!), so I decided to finally do so. This means that it's more widely accessible, not just by users at en.Wikipedia.
The new upload filename on Commons is File:Kingston DataTraveler flash drive disassembled.jpg. If you're unhappy about any aspect of how I've transferred it, please feel free to alter the page.
Once again, thanks for the picture!

- Edit; please also feel free to revert or further tweak the colour balance, brightness and contrast adjustments I made if they weren't what you wanted. Thanks, Ubcule (talk) 20:49, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
iriver SPINN
[edit]Hello. You once uploaded an image named File:IriverTD.jpg showing the iriver SPINN player. Do you happen to have other photos of the player to share? I'm trying to improve iriver content and having a good image of a standalone SPINN player would be very helpful since there aren't any free ones right now. Thanks. --Morita Akio (talk) 11:23, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Morita Akio I don't have the original image. Sorry Ravenperch (talk) 11:54, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
