strictly independent of the subject

Beta Gamma Rho

I included the comment. But just to let you know, I'm an Alpha Phi Omega brother from the USA, but I've probably spent more time looking at the Philippine Fraternity & Sorority situation than almost any USAian. There just aren't many independent published books on Fraternities in the Philippines, so articles from places like Philstar or the Manila Bulletin would probably be the way to go.
