Kit numbers
I watched the second game vs Hannover (we lost 3-0, ugh), and have some kit numbers for you: Torres wore 22, Saviola 24, Pepe 3, Balboa 27. The others wore the usual. Van Nistelrooy, Soldado, Metzelder and the American Cup guys did not play. Cheers Raystorm (¿Sí?) 17:13, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Re: Ginn/KR
The reason it's listed as WR/KR is to show that the player is both a WR and a kick returner. The only reason we do this is because just showing KR would confuse some people into thinking the player is only a kick returner and is only listed under WRs because there isn't a returner category. Having WR/KR leaves no question. Pats1 18:37, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Denney is not a defensive end though. At all. Ted Ginn IS a receiver. So that argument is no good.►Chris Nelson 19:01, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
I don't think Cassano is part of the team
- Well, if Real Madrid is trying to sell Cassano and there is a source for that, you could place him in the Players Transfer Out without the confirmation sign. Please, don't forget the source. But, until the deal is signed, he should stay in the Squad Information, because, even though he is not training with the others, he still a Real Madrid player. By the way, are you Raul after Raul from Real Madrid? :-) --ClaudioMB 22:35, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Dolphins' long snapper from 1997-2004.►Chris Nelson 23:52, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Not sure how you would measure a long snapper.►Chris Nelson 00:03, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- If I recall correctly, it was a guy named Jeff Grau.►Chris Nelson 01:23, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Number of non-EU players
- Thanks for your input. I couldn't find any reference to that on Rfef. Please, if you could find it, enter in the template or tell me the link. I entered a source for the 3 players rule, but it's an indirect information. It will be used until a better source be found.--ClaudioMB 15:02, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- Done. Thank you very much. --ClaudioMB 19:49, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Spanish first team squads
I have initiated a discussion on how to present Spanish first team squads on WP:football´s talkpage. I think we should distinguish the actual first team squad (nos. 1-25) from players registered with a reserve team who have been given first team numbers (26-), since the latter are not technically members of the first team. I have twice tried to make the distinction on the Real Madrid page only for it to be changed back. I thought maybe you would have an opinion on the subject and would be thankful for your comment. Barça C
My mistake. You seem well informed on Spanish football and of course I shouldn't have doubted that you knew this piece of information. By the way, where do you find the best English news on Spanish football? Sebisthlm 10:17, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Manual of Style for club season articles
As you have often contribute to club season articles, I believe this and this are pretty much of your interest.--ClaudioMB 15:50, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Re: Dolphins KR
I just used who had the majority of the kick/punt returns, except for a couple of teams that were dead even. Pats1 T/C 18:07, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
Islanders roster
You didn't put him on the IR, you merely put 'injured'. If he's on IR, put (IR). GoodDay 14:25, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Updating rosters
Here's a hint on updating rosters: As opposed to deleting the inactive player, use comment marks to hide it! This makes it much easier if a player returns to the roster. Just insert "<!---" before the player, and then "--->" after the player. It's a big time saver. Have a look at Hartford Wolf Pack for an example. Flibirigit (talk) 11:32, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
