[edit]
This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because the username, Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons, matches the name of a well-known, living person.

If you are the person represented by this username, please note that the practice of blocking such usernames is to protect you from being impersonated, not to discourage you from editing Wikipedia. You may choose to edit under a new username (see information below), but keep in mind that you are welcome to continue to edit under this username.

If you choose to keep your current username, please send an email to info-en@wikimedia.org including your real name and your Wikipedia username to receive instructions from our volunteer response team about account verification. Please do not send documentation without being requested to do so.

If you are not the person represented by this username, you are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our username policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you wish for your existing contributions to carry over under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" from their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a change of name request.
  3. Your requested new username cannot already be in use. Therefore, please check the list here to see if a name is taken prior to requesting a change of name.
Appeals: If, after reading the guide to appealing blocks you believe you were blocked in error, then you may appeal this block by adding {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this notice. Doug Weller talk 12:04, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I created the User:Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons 1 because my request for unblock from this user account was ignored. --Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons (talk) 10:59, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I believe this is verification enough. Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons (talk) 08:17, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Thanks. I am Rasmus Paludan and created this account to contribute with CC photos of myself and others to various Wiki-projects. I have sent an email to the address for verification. Can you assist me in preventing the new photo from being deleted? --Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons (talk) 12:28, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Block evasion. We would have needed confirmation of identity verification from the Foundation. That you not not provided that and that you evaded this block and have gone to great lengths to find some non feasible proof tells me you are an imposter.-- Deepfriedokra (talk) 20:08, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Information icon Hello, Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons 1 (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 08:36, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You should probably discuss that on COMMONS:User talk:Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons. COMMONS and ENWIKI are separate. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 12:48, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have added an official page on our home page with the license:
[1] --Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons (talk) 08:16, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Deepfriedokra And now they are socking. Doug Weller talk 09:10, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Only because you ignored my response and did not react to it. Not really in accordance with Assume good faith is it? I have linked to a page on our official website where the picture is granted CC license. What more do you want? --Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons (talk) 10:56, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is useless.@Deepfriedokra I’ve just blocked another sock. Doug Weller talk 18:03, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You have blocked another user. Not another sock. I think you should step aside from this case since you are obviously personally emotionally involved and have lost any objectivity. If you ever had any. --Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons (talk) 01:36, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The faling logic of Doug Weller

[edit]

He claims that I am not Rasmus Paludan but he also claims that there is a conflict of interest because I am in fact Rasmus Paludan. Both positions cannot be true. --Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons (talk) 11:03, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Doug Weller: You need to wait for the Foundation to read what you sent them an act on it. Willing to accept the sock as a badly done rename if it does not claim to be you. Oh, it looks like you do claim to be that person. Sorry. You must wait for the Foundation to confirm here that you are who you say you are. Thanks. Feel free to bug the people at info-en@wikimedia.org The ball is in their court. Sorry, for the inconvenience. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 11:15, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, I said you need to prove who you are. We get too many imposters. Doug Weller talk 11:19, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Doug Weller talk 18:16, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Bloody Hell. Please follow the bloody instructions. Please wait for the Foundation to verify it is you and not an imposter. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:52, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Deepfriedokra even then I don’t see why after these attempts to get around their block they should be unblocked. Doug Weller talk 19:30, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
good point. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 20:03, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Doug Weller is lying. I have not used another sock, apart from the Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons 1 account, which has been declared openly. I have written the foundation but never received an answer. If I was not blocked I would initiate a Request for comment regarding the behavior of Dogh Weller. He is committing hate speech against me by refusing to use my correct personal pronoun. My gender identity is male but Doug Weller is a anti-male person who refuses to refer to me a "he/him" but keeps writing "they/them", which is first of all incorrect English and second of all abuse against me as a person because he refuses to accept my gender identity. Rasmus Paludan Creative Commons (talk) 01:40, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

An unblock request is not a place to abuse other editors. The policy (WP:IMPERSONATE) clearly states that a block may be appropriate, as here, "until proof of identity is provided." Johnuniq (talk) 03:06, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. No, you're not telling the truth. I am a WP:CheckUser and the evidence is blatantly obvious. Even if you are able to prove who you are, you've used sockpuppets. And there is no way that you can edit your or related articles in any case as you have a major conflict of interest. Doug Weller talk 09:46, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Identity verified

[edit]

@Doug Weller, Deepfriedokra, and Johnuniq: This user has provided sufficient proof of identity via VRT for me to mark this as a {{verified account}}. I have provided some basic advice including links to WP:GAB, WP:AB and WP:COI and advised him to return here to make an unblock request (with no promises as to the outcome of such a request). No comment with respect to any other aspects of the situation here beyond identity. ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 21:05, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Welp, that takes care of that issue. Thanks, @ElHef:. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 21:10, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Deepfriedokra@ElHef thanks. But the socking still remains a major issue. I see no evidence he'll be a productive editor. Doug Weller talk 06:40, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid the socking and the incivility make this user a poor fit for this Community, especially as monofocused as he is. I mean, I cannot see where he is here to build the encyclopedia and the lack of collaborative attitude speaks for itself. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 06:57, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
