Punani
[edit]Hello. The moves you are making of Punani and Punanai are controversial. Please use the process described at WP:RM/CM to propose any moves of these titles. Thanks. Station1 (talk) 21:38, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for your response.
- Punanai is an unofficial spelling used for international websites, due to the controversial spelling of the village name, as confirmed by officials via correspondence. It's not used however in local websites.
- In my opinion, Punani (village) would be a better suited name for the Wikipedia page. Thanks. Raptorz12 (talk) 04:37, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
- Please add your opinion to the discussion at Talk:Punanai#Requested move 22 March 2023. You may or may not be right, but it is very important that you do not move the article while the discussion is ongoing. If you convince others, then an disinterested editor will assess WP:CONSENSUS after about 7 days and close the discussion and either move or not move the article. You might also wish to review WP:COMMONNAME. It's also important not to move or redirect the article about the song while that discussion is ongoing at Talk:Punani (disambiguation)#Requested move 24 March 2023. Thank you.
