Request reason:

My name is Ruth Ann Collins. I met William Marion Branham in 1955 and attended most of his meetings. In 1969 my father, Willard Collins, became the pastor of the Branham Tabernacle in Jeffersonville, IN. In 1968 when I was 18 years old, I left the movement to attend the University of Arizona and thereafter chose a different path in life. I am an active historian and genealogist and am interested in the article about William Marion Branham from a historical perspective. I signed up as an editor and made two comments about this article. Because others signed up commented the same day, I was labeled a "sock puppet", an investigation was opened and somehow a conclusion was reached that I was likely a sock puppet or definately a sockpuppet. I do not understand how this could be possible because I am the only person who has access to my computer and have only created one account with Wikipedia. The user name I selected was my given name "RannCollins". I have been totally open and not deceptive about who I am and any connection I may have had with William Marion Branham. When I was blocked from any further edits on Wikipedia, I believed the sock pocket investigation would prove I had only opened one account. The conclusions reached during that investigation were shocking. I believe an error occurred during that investigation and no technical proof exists that I am in any way connected to the other accounts. Since no real names were used on the other accounts that were opened that I have no way of knowing who opened those accounts or whether I have had any contact with these people.
