Hi Rane2030, I see we are making progress in copyediting the article. I also see you have added the text in:

Meanwhile, the period between 1955-1977 is considered as the most creative and widespread phase of phase of Sri Lanka’s art, music, literature, cinema, and theatre. During this period country had made a notable success in cinema productions; a broader platform was set aside for movie enthusiasts, movie artists, technicians, cinema service providers, and investors. It became a commercialized entertainment field which had a national level demand since it was a modern public entertaining cradle. Following the success of cinema in terms of commercialized entertaining field, it also made a broader space for various resources to flow into the Sinhala cinema; it was a time where directors and producers were looking for new performers. In this space, among the “new-stars” Bogoda gained an unexpected breakthrough into theatre and cinema.

Your not writing an essay. Everything in the article, needs to be abouts the articles subject, which Wickrama Bogoda himself, and only the articles subjects. So that block will need to come out. It is not about the subject. The Sri Lankan cinema articles, its history could perhaps do with it, but not this.scope_creep (talk) 16:56, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Rane2030. Can you please check the Character actor section, and make sure it still makes sense. I took out the bit on the Meisner Technique, which you explained what it way. I linked it to the article, which explains it all, but it might not have what your looking for in explanation within that section, perhaps it doesn't flow as well as you like. See what you can do. scope_creep (talk) 10:22, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Anula Karunathilaka moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Anula Karunathilaka, does not have any sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Please stop continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. Coffee // have a ☕️ // beans // 07:00, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Comments: Rane2030 Dear Cofee, Thank you very much for your kind instructions, I appreciate that. Please kindly note that I am not an experience Wikipedia editor, I am depending on editors who controls my work from much higher postions to improve them. Therefore, appreciate your instructions and directions etc. I am not sure why the maintain templates appear on the article, since I have completed the article, it does not say which areas I need to improve further! but the template are there. Perhaps, I understand it needs further improvements in terms more information and links etc as I drafted the article. Yet I cannot understand the particular reasons for maintenance templates to appear on the article. At this end, may I request you to help me to identify the exact areas of the articles that needs improvement to for the maintenance templates to be removed and maintain it as a standard Wikipedia article. Thanks Rane2030 08:26, 31 January 2018 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rane2030 (talkcontribs) 08:26, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you can't recognise the shortcomings in this article it is likely that you do not have a good enough command of the English language to contribute usefully to the English Wikipedia. In that case it would be advisable for you to stick to editing in a Wikipedia in a language in which you are competent, perhaps the Sinhalese Wikipedia. --David Biddulph (talk) 13:39, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

- I have added more information to the image, such as meta data of the image that I attempted to add to the article, since I thought it will be helpful to verify the image and to justify the use of the image irrespective who made.

- I have also stated that it is not a property belongs to rane2030 who drafted the article for which the image was used. (I friend of mine found it for me to put into the article of Anula Karunathilka).

- The image is available on the internet, when my friend contact the person who produced it agreed, and gave his consent to use the image on the article.

I understand and accept the fact that needs still the permission of those who produced. At the this end, I try to make it more "legalize" or find some other images with Copyrights to substitute this image.

I appreciate if anybody wants to contribute to this discussion,
