Just wanted to introduce myself, and offer another overdue welcome. I'm one of a couple of Kiwi admins here, so please give me a yell if you ever need a hand. Thanks!  Glen  08:28, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Helping out with the Unassessed Wikipedia Biographies

[edit]

Seeing that you are an active member of the WikiBiography Project, I was wondering if you would help lend a hand in helping us clear out the amount of [unassessed articles] tagged with {{WPBiography}}. Many of them are of stub and start class, but a few are of B or A caliber. Getting a simple assessment rating can help us start moving many of these biographies to a higher quality article. Thank you! --Ozgod 21:44, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Did you mean to say that he is currently 159 years old? I think this is a typo but i am not sure of his actual date of birth. Thankyou. Woodym555 23:17, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Allan Highet

[edit]

Hi Random Kiwi, just wondering what your sources are for the above? I'm related to him via my grandfather, and would like to know where I can read up about the Highets. --Lholden 05:18, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Pesetasam.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Radiant chains (talk) 05:09, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Randomkiwi! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 10 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 52 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
